@InvertTheWing I suggest you check how many key, match changing incidents have been deemed to have been wrong 5-0 by the Key Match Incidents panel in Leeds games, against Leeds. We've been royally screwed repeatedly, cos us so many points.

@MATTheGamer10 Farke's hardly played him, but he just got decent minutes for Japan and, unsurprisingly, produced an excellent performance, cos he's a quality player. Farke's handling of him, Gnonto, Largie & others has been poor imo. #lufc

So, of course, the expense in June's accounts would be the full transfer fee. It can't be spread over more than 1 accounting period cos his contract wd end.

If you spend £14m, you have to account for that whole £14m. A sum is only written down if it appeared on a previous balance sheet as an expense.

@LufcTeej30186 @1919analysis @RyanJDay I don't think you understand amortization. In layman's terms, it's spreading an expense over several accounting periods. If a player is bought & sold in the same accounting period, the full expense is booked in that end of year balance sheet.

@Waccoe1919 If Palace are losing Mateta, their need is greater & with PSR we're in no position to get involved in a bidding war. Personally, I think we are thinner in defence than attack, but, given the PSR situation created by Orta, our squad is not in bad shape at all. JSL has 1 goal.
