I’ve been involved in efforts to save the Sir John Maxwell School for a while so it was with a heavy heart I viewed this👇on site yesterday. Sadly, such an uncontrolled collapse, which happened at a known weak point in the building fabric, means the game is probably up…😔! 1/4

@jonmolyneuxSGP @glasgowecohub @JohnMaxwellgro1 As a former pupil of the school and one who still lives in the community I despair at the lack of ambition for the old building especially given the direct connection with Pollok Park and Sir John who was praised to the hilt by Prince Charles in the NTS magazine this month.
