So Fred Penner is playing our local town festival, and I won’t be able to go this year, and I actually cried when my friend told me.
This month has been a lot.
So I ran 11Km to go get a breakfast sandwich today. It was part of a virtual race and I trained a lot and I’m really proud of myself. I only cried three times: once when I thought I couldn’t finish, once when I realized that I could, and once when I hit 11Km.
So I’m getting a tattoo tomorrow that will work yo fill in a patchwork sleeve I’m working on. But the best two spots are right over my ditch/elbow, or almost in my armpit…🫠
@KateBour When I was starting out freelancing, some of the best advice I got was to build three packages. Make the middle offer the one you want to do the most of/is the best economically for you. You’ll always sell the most of the middle one.
I’ve been helping plan my sister and her fiancé’s joint bachelor/bachelorette party and the best man is like some trip planning wizard. I now text him more then my partner. BFFs for life.
This is a great article. As someone who works in digital marketing and social media, trying to get attention for clients in these spaces can feel gross. But producing kind, wholesome content often doesn’t get you anywhere (marketing-wise). It’s fascinating to think about why.
