Jane Arkell was a wonderful person who dedicated her life to ensuring everyone was welcome & included.
I was lucky to know her for 30 years.
Her passion for disability inclusion in sport was a major influence in my life.
Eron & I offer our condolences to her family & friends.
Thank you to all who have responded so far, we appreciate you sharing your experiences with accessibility in the built environment! Please keep sharing!

"We lost this bill the first time it was introduced in the House of Commons when the most recent election was called. We don't want to lose this bill again and have to start all over again a third time." - Bill Adair
"This form of engagement can ensure an intersectional, disability, and pan-Canadian approach... together, we will make sure the CDB truly ends poverty for #pwd in Canada." - Bill Adair

It's November 3rd.
People with disabilities relying on government support are already minus and there are 27 days left in the month. When are disabled Canadians going to be able to buy food and pay bills? When is the government going to give us AID instead of MAiD? #ODSP
