In high school and college I worked as a sound technician.

You know... the guy nobody notices at the back of the venue, setting up the massive speakers, running the sound board while everyone else is watching the stage? That was me.

I loved that job. There was something deeply satisfying about being the invisible force that let everything else be heard.

But here is the thing every sound technician learns fast.
