@SuccuLoli Nothing in these bans protect kids. Not to mention, what do you think happens to your account when this goes through? Literally you're the target of this.
@CincyBuckeye@AngryBlackLady Anyone asking that question knows that responding to it in the way she did will result in harassment to the answerer. Which is exactly what Staley said, if you stick around for the end of that video. It's "shit on this marginalized community for no reason or face consequences".
@acoolerclimate5 @EntrancedG If a cis dude had gynecomastia, or an injury that required the amputation of his penis, I would hope he'd still be welcome in that kind of space. Some men just happen to have a genetic condition where they failed to get a Y chromosome, is all.
@acoolerclimate5 @EntrancedG Vaginas aren't typically implicated in those things. If you're not interested in playing with a trans man's vagina or chest, then don't. And like, the presence of a body part does not an unsafe place make.
@JamesNe23398536@fuglypole @EntrancedG You missed responding to this one. I wonder why.
Anyway, thank you for participating in trans day of visibility.
And April Fool's. :3
@JamesNe23398536@fuglypole @EntrancedG And three... I need to really stress to you that trans women don't want to date people who fundamentally disregard their humanity and reduce them to their genitals. The people you're so worried about are not in the dating pools of trans women.
@FrumiousBander3 @EntrancedG Hey, thank you for participating in trans day of visibility.
And April Fool's. :3
(the answer to your statement is that you disclose it in more subtle ways, because of the semiotics of gender.)
@JamesNe23398536 @EntrancedG If I described to you a man who was born without a penis but who, through the use of modern medicine, could activate the male gene expressions necessary to start growing it and even eventually achieve penetration, you'd hail it as a modern miracle. โฆIf that guy was cisgender.
@JamesNe23398536 @EntrancedG Well, see, the thing is, "hot dog" is a mistaken external label. So what we're really talking about is someone looking at something from the outside and assigning them the incorrect category based on aesthetics. Like you're doing with "woman".
I'm very clever, thank you. :)
@JamesNe23398536 @EntrancedG Anyway, there are phrases that are, at least now, clearly metaphorical or vestigial, like "hot dog", and there are phrases that are adjective modifiers on a literal noun, such as, say, "phone camera". So it's silly to disqualify "trans man" because metaphors exist.
@JamesNe23398536 @EntrancedG The "dog" in "hot dog" literally meant "dog", at the time it was coined.
Having an innate sense of curiosity and a desire to understand facts might have saved you from this snarky response backfiring on you, but, alas. Maybe next time you'll develop a sense of epistemic charity.
@JamesNe23398536@fuglypole @EntrancedG And hey, the good news is that transphobes increasingly make their transphobia a central part of their identity, sacrificing things like common sense, compassion, and the capacity to resist apophenia, so, don't worry, we'll know to stay far away and reject you if you try. :)
@J99Chad @EntrancedG Third of all, once T growth kicks in, penetration can happen in the other direction to some extent. There's a ton of configurations of queer sex you can't even conceive of because you're stuck in cishet sex brain. But it's okay, we all start somewhere.
@J99Chad @EntrancedG First of all, look at this thread, I'm fully out of my "bubble" and in yours, and I find yours has thicker walls. Second of all, you must be really, really bad at sex to think that if a penis and a vagina exist in a sexual context they must inevitably touch.
@AmTiredNBored @EntrancedG Wait, do you... think that cis people somehow have innate pronouns such that trans people constantly need a badge to change them? X3
Anyway, you are in fact correct that pronouns do not a gay man make. You misunderstood the point so badly that you accidentally agreed with it.
@fuglypole@JamesNe23398536 @EntrancedG I see you ignored the part of my point involving not controlling someone else's dating pool. Tell you what. Go back and take another swing at it, see if you get more than a foul tip this time.
