@MaxCountryman@ryanbed Hi, your site is beautiful and FAST.
It’s like it was already loaded before I pressed enter after typing the URL. It's crazy fast. Do the individual job listings come from a DB query or are they pre-rendered into as static page hosted on a CDN? Thank you!
@MaxCountryman@ryanbed My biggest question is how immediate the page loads, like it was already loaded before I pressed enter after typing the URL. It's crazy fast. Do the individual job listings come from a DB query or are they pre-rendered into as static page hosted on a CDN? Thank you!
and you do not know which level will be heavily leant on today until you see the orders
in the midst of nerding out, do not forget to focus on what actually moves the market. you cannot escape trading fundamentals
AGGRESSIVE ORDERS. AGGRESSIVE BUYING/SELLING
assume you have some gamma flip level - since it's very popular rn and i get many DMs asking if i use them - i don't
sure, handy to know, but you will see the orders hit the tape and DOM aggression they can't hide for long
if the level is significant then they will all come
You need to see order book irregularities for a proper move to occur. Generally starts with pulling liquidity from algos/HFT withdrawing their liquidity - eg phantom liquidity
Trades start getting filled gapping through prices then that triggers a cascade of resting orders
Greatest shift I made as a trader was seeing the market in terms of positioning and flow, both intraday and longer tf
Need to have greater weight to context of over/under positioning in a market
Eg the setup looks good but within the context of a narrative+catalyst it prob not
Ppl assume day trading means busy. It means flat end of day. For that safety the give up is needing a deep understanding of market structure whilst constantly weighing catalysts, flow, correlations and sentiment
It’s tactical. Not busy. It’s a mental sport
Hence macro tactical
@686Prism@cloudy_cl markets are legit just lvn/hvn acceptance/rejection. from low liquidity to high liquidity. that's it. human beings make this stuff way more complex than it needs to be.
aggressive orders gets you out of these areas
