BHVR most likely chose the Japanese voice actors for 2B and A2 rather than the English ones intentionally.

Dead by Daylight tries to honor IPs in their originally intended versions / languages rather than westernized or dubbed ones. IPs such as Ringu and Tokyo Ghoul showcase this.

It's not a matter of the English actors being unobtainable either. Other Game Collaborations with NieR have utilized the English dub / actors.
And the biggest thing... 2B's voice actor is ALREADY in DBD! Kira Buckland officially voiced Rain Carradine for the Romulus release in 2024.

For me, I personally prefer this much more than dubs since I always play games with the intended / original language and it honors the franchise(s) roots. Absolutely zero hate or discredit to the English voice dub.
