@HenrySYArt @ToonHive He paid them severance. Payment in leiu of notice means he paid them so they are not just instantly cut off. This gives them time to find a job fast. Getting laid off still sucks, but he’s tried to do it properly

@Christie_Whelan I read a theory speculating that this is a calculated way to leave radio before their contracts are up in order to enter the now lucrative podcasting space. Not sure but it’s always possible
