@podoffame @baseball_ref Absolutely great discussion. I would want Carlton on there. I think Kershaw doesn't make it because his postseason numbers were pedestrian. Koufax's 1962-66 may have been the best 5-year run ever. But he left early.

@SainAsylum @DamichaelC No way to measure this — even in today’s analytics — but guys hit the floor more often, it seems. Still … But teams now have so much invested in players that they just don’t go unless they are close to 100 percent. And teams with lousy records don’t want to win.
