@markhadfield I had to miss the event at the last minute, grrr. Is there a way to watch a video of it? I've had a peak in Eventbrite and can't see anything obvious.
@PhilLewisHQ Thanks Phil. Good catch on “SME”. As you might expect, I’m constantly making that point, and we understand and operate at a much more specific level. It is, however, an oft-used hashtag…
Staff then walk through removing the signage. Say we all have to leave or pay £300 upgrade to First. So we all leave the carriage, which is now empty, earning no revenue at all. Staff say it’s “ridiculous”, “THEY make us do it”, “please tweet about it”. OK…!
More amazingness from @AvantiWestCoast. Coach H on the 18.51 from Euston is clearly signed Standard Premium, so 40-ish people sit down, ready to pay their £25 upgrades. 30s before departure they announce there’s no Std Prem, only First.

@andybudd Although I find working with designers to ‘bring to life’ different directions is often the best way to help strategy emerge. To understand if the theory survives contact with reality and, of course, to make it understandable.
@andybudd In my experience, strategy *is* important, but there’s just not the need for that much strategising, as it’s relatively obvious and fixed for several years. So, as you say, delivering against it is everything.
@andybudd@stef Suppliers don't want new customers right now because, given how much wholesale energy prices have risen, they'll lose money supplying at the current price cap rate.
@morphcostumes Tried your email but the reCAPTCHA isn't working. I've just bought your Frosty piggyback suit, but everyone says it looks like I'm wearing a snowman codpiece, not piggybacking on the snowman! Do you have any tips to create a better illusion please?
