@triscilly @natemezmer@stevemagness It could be. Will start to learn more about long-term effects of regular training in supers v. w/o in upcoming longitudinal studies. Also a theory that decreased muscuskeletal stress w/supers could decrease resiliency and increase general injury risk. Still unknown for long-term.
@triscilly @natemezmer@stevemagness There is data to support the idea that small changes to running economy (1-3%) in a sub-max, lab-based protocol can accurately predict race performance improvement. In this case, economy improvement based on footwear condition.
@natemezmer@stevemagness The protocol was done at 6-min/mile. Subjects were well-trained (not 6-min milers) and operated well below threshold at 6-flat/mile. Better translation to elites. All footwear was marathon/LD. Wouldn't need to look at 100m sprint effect and sprint testing would be anaerobic,
@SethLebronHall@CoachHansenSFA@SFA_TFXC Adidas coming in a current study ๐ still looking to add both men and women for a carbon racer vs. super spikes study if you're willing to share!

@The_Michalski Big inspiration to those of us who found running way late. Also, very impressive and refreshing to see such a deliberate and clear reflection of God's glory and grace. Def gonna be seeing you at a World Championship before too long!
