CJP has no business lecturing anyone on democracy or free speech or women empowerment !
When its supporters pepper sprayed for just saying Vande Mataram !
India has the among the lowest data prices in the world. It is so good that I don't even bother to connect to local Wifi when I travel in India and just tether my phone to work on my computer. Indians routinely have dual SIM phones with large data plans because they are so affordable. Ambani's launch of Jio is directly responsible for the low data prices Indians enjoy.
India has among the lowest drug prices in the world (and going lower still). People who visit India buy medicines to take home quite regularly now.
India has among the lowest cost payment systems in the world in UPI.
On the other hand, Tesla is protected from Chinese competition in the US market, keeping EV prices higher in America than elsewhere.
Prime Minister Modi has worked hard to create a competitive economy where the benefits flow to the average Indian. His government does not tolerate monopolies. He has also actively promoted and encouraged a massive surge in startups and that is the best signal of a highly competitive economy.
Directly due to Modi government policy, Indian startups are making major advances in low cost rockets and that poses a threat to SpaceX the same say the Chinese EVs threaten Tesla.
These are the facts Elon.
Prakash Raj, who once ruled the South Indian film industry, has now become a mere comedy material.
His downfall must be studied. No, he is not a rebel. He is not a revolutionary.
Just another converted rice bag, desperately auditioning for every camp & failed everywhere 😊
The Nobel Prize committee has lost its moral compass. It has awarded its highest honor to a bigot who built her career around inventing and propagating blood libels against the one and only Jewish state.
Navi Pillay’s proudest achievement was to legitimize a corrupt prosecutor who turned to her fabrications against Israel hoping that by joining her bigoted lynch mob, he would beat a rape charge.
Karim Khan, who was accused by his own ICC employees of raping and sexually molesting them, used Pillay’s lies to build a fake case against Israel.
Pillay supplied the lies. Khan weaponized them. And now the misguided members of the Nobel Committee are honoring the woman who propagated this demonization of the Jews and this travesty of justice.
Mr. Musk, yes, no billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy - Indian or American.
India must welcome competition in satellite internet, from Indian and global providers, whoever offers the most practical and affordable last-mile solution for those in remote regions. In countries with lower per-capita incomes, satellite internet must be affordable too. High subscription fees and equipment costs risk putting it beyond the reach of ordinary households. Connectivity must bridge the digital divide, not create a new one.
India knows our networks and spectrum are strategic infrastructure, not merely commercial assets. India’s national security safeguards are non-negotiable.
Every country makes choices based on its own interests. Those in the West cannot preach free markets while practicing protectionism at home. USA imposed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect its domestic industry, just as India takes measures to protect its own domestic manufacturers. Both India and the US have restricted Huawei over security concerns. One cannot demand a level playing field from others only when it suits its own agenda.
Indians will internally debate, question and address our strengths and shortcomings as a democratic country.
Take BharatNet, India’s programme to bring broadband to village-level local bodies. We will question why, as the CAG’s 2026 audit report found, the programme is struggling to meet its original objectives. Why were only 33.2% of service-ready Gram Panchayats operational, despite ₹39,888 crore being spent? At the same time, we know to appreciate our telecom sector and regulations, which has made internet data among the world’s most affordable, bringing millions online.
India is a democracy, not a colony. We welcome the world, but we, the Indian people, will decide our own future - not Western vested interests, their double standards or any billionaire - Indian or American.
Interesting that you seek judicial credibility to your claims as opposition, which should stand on their own.
Justice V. Gopala Gowda, former judge of the Supreme Court indeed. Also, a former CPI(M) member. Also, allegedly accused in a sex scandal when he was High Court Judge. Exonerated, but by judges. Yet, his elevation to the Supreme Court was confirmed by UPA II. Same guy right?

Spare us the crocodile tears, @elonmusk.
My home office, in a village at the foothills of the Western Ghats in Tamil Nadu, runs on 200+ Mbps BSNL fibre for under $15 a month. Starlink's comparable 200 Mbps plan in the US costs $85 a month, plus a $349 dish.
BharatNet has made more than 90% of village panchayats broadband-ready, and the rest are due by March 2027. In rural America, nearly 1 in 4 households still has no wired 100 Mbps provider.
Rural India isn't waiting to be rescued.
What would happen if you left India in 2001 and returned today in 2026?
A glimpse of what changed in 25 years of Modi......only a glimpse though 🙂
#25YearsOfSeva
266 Hindus killed in nine months, almost one every single day.
Our team read more than eight lakh news reports and recorded every case between Jan and Sept 2026. Most of them never made national news.
The full Hindu Murder Tracker report will be on https://t.co/UOx5Zo1xtn. Full pdf in replies.
Remember Zaib Ansari, the J'hadi who stabbed Hindus in Mumbai after asking their religion?
In today's @IndianExpress, Mohd Thaver & Sadaf Modak gave a Page 2 humanitarian apologia to Zaib Ansari, citing
-recent divorce
-eviction notice from landlord
-veg food habits
as his reasons for radicalisation
The article also says that Ansari was mentally disturbed & resultantly, gor radicalised by watching the videos of a Yemeni-American cleric.
Honestly at this point, IE should rename itself The Al Taqiya Express & move on.
🚨 BLAST FROM THE PAST: Then Law Minister Kapil Sibal's 2013 Vote Deletion logic he needs to see himself😂
Back then, Sibal said voter deletion was HARDLY a BIG ISSUE:
> “You can any day go to the Electoral Registration Office and say, register us. We are here.”🤣
He explained deletions could happen if a voter:
• Moved away
• Was registered in another constituency
• Had died
His argument was simple: If your name disappears, go and get it restored🤡
Fast-forward to today.
Same guy now presents electoral-roll revision as an existential THREAT to democracy!!
So what changed, the voter list, or the politics around it?
