An incredible blood donation drive the Adani Foundation organized for Gautam Adani’s 64th birthday on June 24th.

Instead of the usual celebrations, they turned it into something genuinely meaningful.

Across more than 754 cities, towns, and villages in 21 states, 5 Union Territories, and even 4 international locations, thousands of people came together and donated blood.

The final tally? 52,306 units that’s almost double last year’s record of 28,090 units. Over 6,000 volunteers and 764 blood banks made it happen.

They say this will help around 1,56,918 patients with whole blood, platelets, plasma, and other critical components. That’s real impact.

Dr. Priti Adani shared on X: “For Gautam’s 64th birthday, his belief of ‘Seva Hi Saadhna Hai’ was beautifully brought to life through a mega blood donation drive made possible by the Adani Parivaar. 52,306 units of blood. 6000+ volunteers. 750+ locations in India and overseas. My deepest gratitude to every Adanian and medical professional who rolled up their sleeves.”

What started back in 2011 with just 1,300 units has now become one of India’s biggest voluntary blood donation movements. It’s pretty inspiring to see a philosophy like “Seva hi Sadhana Hai” (Service is Worship) actually being lived out at this scale.

In a world that’s often all about taking, it’s powerful when big organizations and communities come together to give something so precious literally a part of themselves so others can live.
