I love that students are still making statements, still walking out, still talking about this - when it feels everyone, everything has “moved on” I’m glad to see this. Not because it materially changes any realities for Palestinians (and Lebanese, Iranians, etc) but because it forces everyone who witnesses it to remember the on-going, unending crimes of our country against entire peoples.
Breaking:
Last night I posted this video, which was taken at 2 a.m.
At around 11 a.m., several reports emerged from Gaza that Israel has expanded the “yellow line.”
Summer is here and it’s really hot in Gaza reaching 30 degrees Celsius / 86 Fahrenheit. Now imagine that being a sick patient in a tent. Help now: https://t.co/dT6xhwzZFU
That’s the case for many of the families in The Sameer Project camps and many cases get seizures due to the heat. We have multiple solar panels in our camps but they can’t provide fans for everyone, so our medical team assessed those most in need.
The Sameer Project needs your support in purchasing fans for the families and money to fix some fans we already have. A fan approximately costs $525 for a new one (if found) and $280 for a used one. That’s aside from the prices for keeping the fans running.
Please donate now to the Refaat Alareer Campaign to help us buy fans: https://t.co/dT6xhwzZFU

WOW, Trump administration has launched a probe into Iran war critic Trita Parsi and is considering to cancel his Green Card and deport him out of the country, The Free Press reports
Israel has killed at least 565 Palestinian soccer players, coaches, and sports staff over the past thirty-one months.
Many more have been injured, detained, or forcibly displaced in Gaza and the West Bank.
Some of the countries participating in this year’s World Cup have been complicit in and even have actively supported Israel’s war crimes and its grave violations of international law.
I am boycotting this year’s World Cup for the sake of our shared humanity and in memory of Refaat and my other friends who loved soccer but never lived to watch and enjoy it with us.
🚨🚨🚨 MUTUAL AID GROUPS IN GAZA ARE SOUNDING THE ALARMS 🚨🚨🚨
Please help urgently: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
Not only are mutual aid groups forced to provide less aid due to lack of funds but also international organizations with millions in funding have significantly decreased aid for Palestinians in Gaza. This is disastrous and is going to lead to further deaths and severe cases of malnourishment.
500,000 daily meals to Gazans were stopped and 256 areas stopped getting water. All this happened over the last few weeks, and no substitutes have been provided. Palestinians in Gaza are left struggling for survival.
The Sameer Project had to reduce food production by 50% and will stop doing some medical days. If donations don’t pick up, we will also have to reduce our water distributions, which we really don’t want to stop during the hot summer!
Help us provide life-saving sustenance by donating to the Food & Water Campaign now: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX

Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s message to the court today as relayed by his attorney:
“I am a pediatrician. I provide medical care to patients, the injured, and vulnerable people in the Gaza Strip. I have carried out my work in accordance with international law and humanitarian standards. My detention is unjust and arbitrary.”
Such a tenderly written and important piece unveiling "the quiet twin of war" in Gaza. This, too, is part of a long genocidal effort by zionists to erase Palestinians.
A must read.
On Gaza’s Hidden Epidemic of Male Infertility for @newlinesmag, my project is finally out in the world. A two-year investigation into the reproductive aftershocks of American-made bombs on Palestinian men.
The story follows Saeed and his decade-long pursuit for fatherhood amid mounting debt, repeated bombardment, blockaded IVF clinics, and the acutely distressing burdens of masculine shame and social stigma. A predicament borne by thousands of men confronting the far-reaching reproductive consequences of life under Israel's siege.
Since Israel’s assaults have razed much of Gaza’s IVF infrastructure (a total of nine IVF labs), medical statistics hardly exist. Anecdotal evidence, already rarely heard outside the bedroom, is also in short supply.
The Israeli military has long depressed community birth rates across Gaza while converting a heavily subsidized reproductive *entitlement* in Israel (IVF) into a punishing war of exhaustion for Palestinians struggling with infertility.
Embryos, medications, culture media and the specialized laboratory equipment upon which Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) depends move at the mercy of Israel's illegal twenty-year blockade.
Across the iron wall and for Israeli citizens, reproduction isn’t an extractive gamble, but an exceptionally generous state project involving multiple, state-subsidized treatment cycles and support. It is an engine of continuity and a national priority shaped by Israel's demographic anxieties.
Please read about the deranged courage, hope and unimaginable costs required to pursue fatherhood under siege.

Yesterday Israel killed an 8 year old boy in Gaza wearing a backpack on the way home from school.
His name was Jad.
The only reason western mainstream news outlets didn’t report on his killing is because he’s Palestinian.
🔴 The son of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza held in Israeli detention since December 2024, warned Monday that his father’s life is in danger after being transferred to solitary confinement in Nafha Prison — a move the family says came in direct retaliation for filing a legal appeal with the Israeli Supreme Court.
The family says Abu Safiya is being held in a two-meter cell with no food, water, medicine, or access to his lawyer.
“How can a person be punished for asking why he is being detained?” his son asked in an urgent public appeal. “Every hour that passes without action may bring more suffering and pain.”
🇵🇸: Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya asked his lawyer to deliver a message to his son: “If you can reach Anas al-Sharif, ask him to remind the world of our cause and our suffering.”
He didn’t know that Israel assassinated Anas in August 2025.
Israel has illegally detained Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya for 500+ days and has now placed him in solitary confinement.
If you think getting a teaching suspension for mentioning Palestinians is bad, imagine being a professor in Palestine.
The crime is not mentioning Palestinians, it’s being Palestinian.
The punishment is abduction & detention in the most well documented rape dungeon on earth.
"It brings me no pleasure to compare what Israel is doing to what the Nazis did, but how can we not? When you have things like ghettos, starvation, concentration camps and planned systematic extermination of people"

Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner raised eyebrows when his ex-girlfriend told the New York Times about the… unconventional way he fantasized about dealing with home intruders.
“If anybody ever broke in here, I would rape them … [but] not in a gay way,” Platner said. “I would rape them to show them that I’m dominant.”
Free Beacon ombudsman Biff Diddle happens to be a certified home security expert who has taught homeowners how to subdue intruders. We asked him to assess Platner’s methods:
Over the past 2.5 years, I’ve seen more Israeli soldiers dressed up in Palestinian women’s underwear than actually fighting Palestinian forces on the ground.
And what would James Carville say about a woman sexually abused by a powerful Democratic politician?
We don’t have to guess.
“Drag a hundred dollars through a trailer park and there’s no telling what you’ll find.”
