@GPUsAreMagic Maybe it's giving you av1 for a device that doesn't support hardware decode for it. Happens to my Ryzen 5000 series laptop as well. I used enhanced-h264ify to disable av1 and fallback on vp9

On an unrelated note, I encountered issues with some tasks being stuck on e-cores due to low core utilization due to slow memory/ring frequency, which of course happened due to low core utilization. 🙃

@Bullsh1t_buster @johnrheritage I had a 2024 rog strix scar 18 as a work laptop for almost a year. Completely changed my views on laptop sizes. It made my 16 inch personal laptop look like a toy. I still miss that 3kg beast. The screen size is what made me tolerate the weight and the bulk.
