@AncientGameplay@beyond_fps So you have a tech youtube channel but don't know how to properly setup, tune and test your system.
Ok I have nothing more to discuss with here, have a good day.๐
@AncientGameplay@beyond_fps >8000 won't be stable at G2 on ARL
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, you are a good demonstration what is wrong with the tech youtube community these days. The only way 8000 will be problematic is for DR kits.
@mpr_reviews Instability can happen at any point at any time in the pc space, even SPEC isn't as clear cut as ppl actually think. Imho when you do a CPU test either take the time to OC good enough and then test, or just use plain basic SPEC and if ppl cry about it tell them to cry to INTC/AMD
@mpr_reviews To add to the above, when we talk about res affecting the perf not every CPU behaves the same way, that's why it is important when you compare different CPUs to do it also with various resolutions.
@mpr_reviews Check heavy RT and mmorpg or plain rpgs, and especially those that are actually using the CPU.
For example wukong when you max it out, it becomes so GPU bottlenecked that it doesn't matter what is going on.
@CapFrameX Everything is working perfectly fine for me, thank you very much for your efforts๐
1 small thing that I noticed is that sometimes the Cores L3 hitrate will get stuck at 100%, but with a restart everything then runs ok.
@facegamefps@DonovanLeR6351@evovipro@ChasersFrame Delidding being a pain is a red flag, mainly because the 52C one imho would highly highly benefit from delidding. But yes if I take PTL as a basis then I can only imagine how much better the interconnects are now, I hope bugs are ironed out in July with the QS we have more info
@facegamefps@DonovanLeR6351@evovipro@ChasersFrame Yes no point imo in investing too much time in ARL now when NVL is so close, ARL now is a good teaching platform, because NVL is going to need the same knowledge to extract as much perf as possible.
@facegamefps@DonovanLeR6351@evovipro@ChasersFrame I have started to think that there is something more going on, and it is not just the clock drops, but generally how the mb handles the CPU, I believe a properly tuned APEX even if the mem is slower it will most likely be faster or the same as a higher mem OCF
@facegamefps@DonovanLeR6351@evovipro@ChasersFrame APEX produces the best gaming numbers as far as I have seen, by far though even at lower than OCF speeds. So I have to ask myself is OCF "cheating" by allowing higher speeds, but the gaming perf is not there?
