@TnsCov You should have your season ticket moved to behind the TV gantry if you ever shout out:
Get it forward
Whip it in
Hadji Wright is lazy
Close down the goaly
Simms isn’t a footballer
Da Siva can’t defend
We’ve got no chance with Lati and Wolfy playing
@kajer87@Lemmy_Lemur If the wingers aren’t right up pressing the full backs then rushing the goalkeeper is an absolute waste of energy 99 times out of 100 and gives the defence an easy out - not pressing in these circumstances does not make a player lazy
@NW1Stephen@GeorgeC88951090 The season Fulham were promoted as Champions we beat them 4-1 at home and 3-1 away. Our fans didn’t think we were better than them as a result - after 46 games Coventry were 11 points ahead of Ipswich with a goal difference +19 better - after 46 game the table doesn’t lie
@UK_Chemist When Dennis Mortimer was sold to the Villa we just found out about it on the back page of the Coventry Evening Telegraph and we were left to mourn in peace.
Hey @JeremyClarkson as a small agricultural business that depends on trading at small local events, it’d be great if you could stop trying to pressgang your Hawkstone cider into every event we do. You don’t grow apples or make the cider yourself. Butt out - you’re bankrupting us
@kevingroves23@saintspins Strange comment - who conceded the fewest goals this season? Pretty sure the team conceding the fewest goals would have a few decent defenders?
@MIL0SEVIC If you had scored the late goal at CBS instead of Haji Wright we would still have been champions and you would have come second which ultimately would have pleased many Cov fans
@fallenangel1969@ccfcfan@coventrycc Club has updated timings on their website/app of timings for the bus route - not sure it is the Council that are running this show but they are an easy target
@JoeBlog377719@PFCjohnny I had been watching the City since 1968 but deciding not to travel 35 miles to Northampton / Birmingham to watch a home game is not turning your back on the club it is sending a message to bad owners. Still travelled to away games. It was a matter of principle.
