Gen X and proud. Sad for other Gens that will never experience what we did.
Leave religion out of it (everything) and life will be more peaceful and fulfilling.
Call your representatives, if you don't believe this will force digital ID or something like that then you haven't been paying attention. Fight hard and push back against this. If this goes through then you might as well kiss your first and fourth amendments goodbye
In Japan they're occupying Tatani rooms while japanese watch in dismay.
Japan has roughly a half a million Muslims and it's growing fast.
Japan is being invaded!

CRUNCHYROLL’S INVISIBLE CURTAIN EXPOSED
Crunchyroll is geo-blocked in Japan.
Japanese fans literally CANNOT access it.
So the West can rewrite subtitles, censor content, and push anti-male dubs, and Japan never sees it.
The KIDS Act and COPPA 2.0 Are Coming for Your Digital Privacy
Congress is moving to mandate age verification across the web. These bills force app stores to use biometrics and government IDs to track users, creating a massive surveillance state under the guise of child safety.

Apple Digital ID Age Check Privacy Risk ⚠️
Apple is rolling out mandatory age verification that shares your ID status with apps. It starts in Brazil, Australia, and parts of the US, effectively killing app anonymity.

There's a new bipartisan bill to counter the mass surveillance of Americans, but I don't see anyone talking about it.
This should be much bigger news.
It mandates warrants before the government can access Americans' web browsing history, search queries, location data, and information from connected vehicles.
It also prohibits government agencies from purchasing the private communications, location information, and other personal data of Americans from third-party data brokers.
And it bans "backdoor" searches where government officials look through information collected on non-Americans for data on Americans.
This is objectively one of the most significant bipartisan reform proposals to prevent government overreach in decades.
I think it should go further than this, but it's a good start and it's important for us to pay attention to.
Everything has changed since 9/11 and even moreso since the Snowden leak. We've lost so much of our privacy, it's gonna be an uphill battle just to get it back.
Some Linux autist dig some digging and discovered the push for Digital ID and Verification on an OS level is coming from META which is lobbying millions of dollars to push for Age Verification and Digital ID laws.
Banking apps can now see which apps you have installed and where they came from. Let that sink in.
Install something they don’t approve of? Suddenly it’s “sorry, you can’t access your money until you fix your wrongthinking.” No court order. No warning. Just a locked screen and zero options.
This isn’t about security anymore, it’s about control, compliance, and surveillance baked into everyday tech. Convenience was the bait. Dependence is the trap.
We’re not entering a golden age of technology.
We’re sliding into the digital dark ages.
Could it be related to $2B in grants and 45 states' lobbying behind age‑verification bills?
Meta (Facebook) alone spent $26.3 million on 'federal' lobbying in 2025 and deployed 86+ lobbyists across 45 states.
META, Google, and other Big Tech are now funnelling massive amounts of cash at the State-level through opaque Super-PACs.
Some of this $2B we have discovered is now funding UK and European activist groups campaigning for 'age-verification' ie. Digital ID Collection.
They have even partnered with the largest ad-space provider & Media Entertainment group @global in the UK to push the message across the Atlantic.

Dear Texans -
Do you know who should care about Texans being suspended on X?
The Texas Attorney General.
Instead of glazing and cheerleading for Politicians, how about we expect them to do their job first.
If you’ve been suspended, go file a Consumer Complaint on the Texas Attorney General’s website - I’ll add the link to the reply.
Mark Zuckerberg is spending huge money on age verification laws because he knows it would pay off twenty fold from all of YOUR data he will harvest.

Something shocking happened in Japan.
During the Fukui governor election, a candidate promised to oppose immigration and multicultural coexistence policies.
Because of this, Sanseito supporters helped him win the election.
But after becoming governor…
He suddenly reversed his position and started supporting organizations promoting multicultural coexistence.
Many voters feel betrayed.
Even people in Fukui are angry, and some are now calling for the election to be redone.
This is becoming a major political controversy in Japan.

@Pirat_Nation This is so they can finally track you across all digital domains, so that they can send you focused advertising.
It's all about the money, not about children.
It NEVER is.
"Once the technical capacity for mass surveillance and political suppression exists, the only thing standing between us and an authoritarian surveillance state is the political expectation that this is not something we do here."

If you lose a normal USB drive, whoever finds it has all your files.
Here's how I lock down my data so that even if I Iose my drive, no one gets access.
