Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.
The older I get, the more I understand why people disappear into gardening baking, reading, and long walks. Not because life got boring. Because peace became valuable.
Don’t fall for the fake Fox/GOP outrage. Two weeks ago the House passed a bill that greenlighted the transfer of Spanish territory to Morocco. Every Republican except me voted for it, but now THEY are acting shocked at the invasion.

Wayne Rooney on the half-time show:
“My favourite bit of the half time show was when it finished… I like all of them artists but I thought it was crap.” 😂😂
Maybe use the best retention/recycling midfielder that had 0 minutes in the competition sitting on the bench?? Tuchel is one of the biggest scams of the decade.
12% - Average possession between Anthony Gordon's opener and Lautaro Martínez's winner (55th to 92nd minute):
12% - 🏴 England
88% - 🇦🇷 Argentina
Trapped.

My God — what did Macron just do?
He talked Trump into signing the Iran peace deal at Versailles. “You’re a king, you deserve the Hall of Mirrors.” While thinking in his head “You’re so ignorant you have no clue what Versailles symbolizes historically”
What he didn’t say out loud: Versailles is where empires go to surrender. 1871, the German Empire crowned itself there on France’s humiliation. 1919, Germany was dragged into that same hall to sign away everything. Every signature under those mirrors is a defeat dressed up as a coronation.
Flattery as a trap. Greatest troll in diplomatic history.
Reagan is rolling over in his grave. Iran’s nuclear ambitions were not curbed, and they have learned that threatening the Strait of Hormuz works and will undoubtedly leverage it in the future. Now, Iran gets to build brand-new infrastructure under this deal.
Before the war, the strait was open, Iran was being crushed by sanctions, and 13 service members were still alive. Now, 13 Americans are dead, families have paid billions at the pump, sanctions will be lifted, and the bombing has stopped. This is the worst foreign policy blunder in decades.
🚨 Amad Diallo only came on in the 56th minute for Ivory Coast, but no player at the 2026 FIFA World Cup has totalled more successful take-ons than he managed tonight versus Ecuador (5). [@OptaAnalyst]
