@BitcoinMagazine Awesome, Strike is what is supposed to make bitcoin work as actual digital cash, right? Amazing, I’m sure mass adoption is imminent with this genius in charge.
@nope_its_lily I’m sure this is largely borne out by the fundamentals in this dark new world. But I’d there any good data in how much this is influenced by the derivatives trade? I know futures are legit & important part of price discovery, but there must also be ppl trying to ride the rally.
@paoloardoino No, only a concerted effort by devs and miners can do that. But then again, why would we need more of useless ledger entries that are burning our planet?
#Tether is printing like crazy to ride the Russia sanctions narrative. It’s not working however, because #Bitcoin is useless even at the things it was created for: money laundering and illegal transactions. So even $500 million imaginary money into illiquid market didn’t last.
@cz_binance So true, and this tweet is such a great example from the community itself! Since risk on assets are purely defined by how they trade, bitcoin is definitely one. In addition leveraged exposure to general market risks, however, It has its own idiosyncratic risks. Few.
@nayibbukele Yeah dude if truckers blockaded your capital for weeks I’m sure you would just say „cool protest, nice democracy“. There is a difference between protest and an illegal blocksde. Now gebessert more taxpayer money on magic internet beans.
