On May 9, a restaurant located in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, registered as GCV Merchant and crossed 10% of its meals with GCV value. Ten percent is not important. It is important that the ecosystem, where everyone believes and chants GCV in one mind, is increasing at an incredible pace and joining.

From January to March, over three months, GCV recorded 582 transactions and 54 merchants.

But in April alone, the ecosystem surged to 768 transactions and 125 merchants — a massive leap in participation and growth.

Right now, in South Korea, the GCV movement is spreading like wildfire.

K-Food, K-Beauty, K-Drama, K-Pop…
Now, it’s time for K-GCV.

The momentum is real. The expansion is happening. The ecosystem is alive.

South of Gyeonggi Ambassador signed this restaurant up for GCV mercants and 40 people paid 10% of their meals for GCV. I talked about GCV training and the distribution map in Piscan.

There are over 18 million identity-verified users on Pi.

But there is one clear difference between Pi’s users and others.

1 million verified users on Pi ≠ 1 million users on other networks.

Most networks measure growth in accounts.

Few measure it in verified users.

There’s a difference.

Pi recognized the importance of identity verification early on and that unverified account creation is simply not enough. Verified identities are needed for any meaningful transactions, especially in real-world economies.

Any time an asset (like crypto, fiat currency, property, etc.) is transferred, it raises a basic question of identity: who is sending it, and who is receiving it. If those identities aren’t clear, it becomes difficult to trust that the transfer is valid or that it went to the right person.

Through the introduction of the CEO of Incheon Metropolitan Newspaper, he successfully onboarded a new GCV Merchant into our ecosystem.
This is not just a business — it is a socially responsible organization, providing scholarships to underprivileged youth and supporting elderly communities through meaningful welfare initiatives.
The store offers a wide range of products, from daily necessities to health supplements, bringing real value to pioneers.
Mr. Jun personally completed the onboarding and executed a GCV transaction, demonstrating true leadership through action.

With 20%–30% GCV payment options, pioneers can purchase products at lower cost while contributing to a meaningful cause.

In today’s world, inflation continues to rise.
Especially with global tensions such as the situation around the Strait of Hormuz, the prices of goods are increasing rapidly.

We cannot expect full Pi payment overnight without effort.
