@thefish64@adamboxer1@SimBadd18 No hands on others is a good policy. It does escalate, ive seen it many times then parents get involved or a teacher intervenes then accusations fly. If you want ,'boys to be boys' they can rough play away from the school yard. Friendly punches can and have been misinterpreted
@sharrond62 Ah the old "schools are babysitters" argument. Maybe employers should pick up some babysitting slack, not that schools would close on the 5th day anyway. ๐
@SJPRCrypto@StevenJonMiller Might be better if lots of parents home schooled then that would reduce our class sizes and those who dont like teachers or what they do would stop complaining ๐
@BarryNSmith79 @Strickomaster My daughter is 27 and on 70,00 a year as a project manager working mainly from home. How is that teaching salary "pretty good" in comparison?
@LBC@NatashaC When students call me Miss I do not see it as relating to anything other than a form of address to me as a teacher. I go by Ms but I dont tell students to call me that. I even call other teachers miss or sir not because I don't respect their gender it's just a form of address.
@Headteacherchat Why do we need them at all. Kids don't care. Just tell them, today we will be leaving about...xyz then get on with it. We have to do what, why and how. Wasted so much time writing these on a pp when it's up on the board for seconds while I TELL them what we are doing.
