We want to encourage as many people as possible to adopt and not shop.

Rescues nationwide are overrun with unwanted pets and are bursting at the seams. Please consider adopting. We promise you won’t regret it 🥰

Lately we have received some harrowing stories from people who have bought puppies from large scale puppy factories, their pups have come out either too young, very sick and sadly in some instances they have died 💔

We beg you not to continue to line the pockets of these people. If you have been the victim or know of a victim of puppy farming where there was similar experiences please get in contact with us today. Our hope is we can advise you on who to contact and how to make an official complaint. Yours was just one of thousands of pups going through a very broken system and we need to take a stand and say Enough is Enough!!!

Be their voice, together we can make a change 💜

@MyLovelyHorseR This horse is clearly being neglected, the authorities need to act immediately.
No one should be above the law, including a certain community! 🤬

This poor horse deserves help now.

[daisy @Daisy3554781631]

@Juleswynnes @MyLovelyHorseR Stupid ignorant people! Surely a horse deprived of food and water would be weak and not at it's best (NOT that I want the poor horse racing at all) just the cruelty and stupidity of it

[J Wynnes @Juleswynnes]

@MyLovelyHorseR Nackers, who will put him in a sulky race later or in the am, under the inbred mistaken belief that by removing water from a horse, they are lighter and faster as a result and stops them potentially bursting blood vessels. I hate Irish travelers & all they do to animals.

[jeankelly @godbegoodtous]

So the horse won't eat, beaten hungry and dehydrated for racing on our roads ..SOMEONE GROW A BACKBONE AND STOP THIS HAPPENING...this animal should be seized .... DISGUSTING

A pony left tethered in a field WITH A BROKEN LEG in IRELAND , so so so sad and cruel .... when will it end

[My Lovely Horse Rescue @MyLovelyHorseR]

💔💔💔ITS BEEN A LONG SAD WEEK 💔💔💔

It's been heartbreaking for everyone. We've been devastated. We've been angry. And we've had to face the hardest part of animal rescue.💔❤️
We lost Celeste.
Then, in Cork, we were called to a young girl with a severely broken leg. Despite everything we tried, we just couldn't save her.
Every day we worry about Eleanor, is she scared, is she being abused?💔💔💔

That is the heartbreaking reality of animal rescue. Sometimes, no matter how hard you fight, you can't save them all.💔💔
This week alone we've also received countless calls about horses left dehydrated, lying on the ground with no food or water, animals tied up, dogs chained for hours. It breaks our hearts.💔💔
What is happening in this country?

Today, we're asking for your help.
If you can spare just €5, it really does make a difference. We know we're always asking, but the truth is that My Lovely Horse Animal Rescue exists because of you. It is the kindness and generosity of the public that keeps us going.
When we're exhausted, when we're heartbroken, when we're under pressure, you're always there beside us. We can never thank you enough.
This Fiver Friday is dedicated to every animal out there still suffering, and to giving us the chance to reach them before it's too late.

Thank you for standing with us. ❤️

🚨 ANOTHER NYC CARRIAGE HORSE IS
DEAD 🚨

This heartbreaking footage was taken in Central Park and shows Deniz, a 16-year-old carriage horse, taking his final breaths after collapsing while pulling passengers.

Join us Wednesday, June 10 at 12 PM on the steps of City Hall for a major rally reintroducing Ryder's Law and demanding that the New York City Council Speaker Julie Menin, and Mayor Zohran Mamdani advance and pass Ryder's Law to end this horrific suffering once and for all. Tonight's tragic and preventable death is a devastating reminder that this legislation cannot wait.

Horrified New Yorkers watched as Deniz struggled in agony before dying in front of a crowd of shocked and heartbroken witnesses. Some were crying and hugging one another as they watched.

No horse should suffer and die this way in the middle of New York City.

Deniz's death underscores the urgent need to pass Ryder's Law before another horse is killed or more people are injured.

There are no more excuses.

There is no more time to wait.

💔💔💔💔BABY HARLAN, we need to cherish him especially at this time 💔💔💔💔💔

A dark cloud has fallen over My lovely horse animal rescue, and our hearts are truly broken 💔💔💔
Losing one of our animals is always devastating, but having one stolen is something else entirely.😡😡
Eleanor is a sweet little pony who came to us frightened, underweight, and in terrible condition. We gave her safety, care, and love, and watched her grow stronger. Now she has been taken from us.💔💔
What makes this even harder is seeing cruel messages and people mocking our search for her. We know there are those who don't understand or value the work we do, but our focus remains where it belongs: on bringing Eleanor home.
Please help us find her. Share this post, keep an eye out, and let us know if you have any information.
Tonight, we're holding our little Harlan a little closer. When your heart is breaking, you cherish the animals still in your care while desperately searching for the one who is missing.
Please help us bring Eleanor back where she belongs

Please donate so we can make our farm safer, high fencing, more cctv…secure the precious animals that have been in the hands of cruel monsters 💔💔😡😡

Poor horse left without water.... so cruel in this weather

[My Lovely Horse Rescue @MyLovelyHorseR]

💔💔💔ANOTHER POOR HORSE 💔💔💔💔

Thank you to Newbridge An Garda Síochána who alerted us to an emaciated, sick pony today. The poor thing was parching, hidden away… we simply cannot get over the level of cruelty and ignorance some humans are capable of 😡😡😡
Animals, like every living being, NEED WATER AND SHELTER in this warm weather 💔💔💔
Horses normally drink on average, between 25 and 55 litres of water per day, yet some of the animals we are coming across are getting barely a drop💔💔💔💔
Dogs chained up with nothing💔
No shelter💔
No care💔
No compassion. 💔💔💔💔💔
Enough is enough.
Once again, we are pleading with the public to please donate if you can. We are completely inundated with cases and desperately need support to continue helping these animals💔💔

https://t.co/gBLskZcqPM

Please don’t ignore neglect. Speak up. Report it. Help us save lives💔💔💔

[jeankelly @godbegoodtous]

We need a garda animal welfare unit! The government and authorities need to step up, enforce the existing laws and new ones made around the keeping and driving of these abused, sensitive souls # @agriculture_ie

[My Lovely Horse Rescue @MyLovelyHorseR]

SUNDAY EMERGENCIES FROM THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING 💔

While much of the country enjoyed the sunshine, MLHR rescue team were responding to emergency after emergency 💔💔💔
Our first call came in at 12:30am. Gardaí had received four separate 999 calls about a pony in Dublin. We had to act, Gardaí were told pursuing a prosecution. We finally stopped at 2:30am 💔💔💔
Then at 8:30am, another heartbreaking situation, a terrified young pony abandoned beside a busy main road and parking area. Working alongside An Garda Síochána, our team safely secured the frightened pony and got him out of danger ❤️
At the very same time, our admin team was overwhelmed with reports from across Ireland:
💔 Animals tied up in blazing heat with no water
💔 Exhausted horses being driven in sulkies/traps
💔 Reports of drivers allegedly intoxicated while animals suffered
And tonight, another devastating emergency in Dublin, two dogs locked away for days without food or water. Thankfully, with Garda assistance, both dogs are now safe in our care ❤️

It is only 9.11pm and we are exhausted, worried about what the next call will bring. But we keep going because the animals need us 💔❤️
We run on compassion, dedication, and the support of the public, but the toll is enormous 💔
Weekends, late nights, emergencies… we don’t stop because we can’t 💔
Please support our work in any way you can, through donations, sharing our posts, reporting cruelty, or simply helping us raise awareness.

https://t.co/gBLskZcYFk

The animals have nobody else.
Thank you to everyone who stands with us ❤️

[jeankelly @godbegoodtous]

When are these people going to be held accountable for their cruelty...

[My Lovely Horse Rescue @MyLovelyHorseR]

💔💔💔 HEARTBREAKING FOR A BABY 💔💔💔

Just 2 weeks old and ripped away from his mum in Limerick 😡💔
We managed to save him, but sadly we couldn’t save his mother 💔 Driving away while he cried out, scared and confused, was absolutely devastating. We know the story we were told wasn’t true. No foal should ever have to go through this.
Wrong colour. Wrong sex. His mum will simply be bred again 😡😡
How can this still be happening? Until laws are enforced and real consequences exist for cruelty, innocent animals will continue to suffer.
Today was horrific. Across this country, so many babies were torn from their mothers because cruel people decided they had “no value.” 💔😡
We will not stop fighting for them, but we desperately need support to keep going.
Please donate if you can. Every contribution helps us rescue, feed, and protect animals like this little innocent baby 💔💔💔💔

https://t.co/gBLskZcYFk
Thank you 💔❤️

[My Lovely Horse Rescue @MyLovelyHorseR]

💔💔💔POOR EMACIATED HORSE 💔💔💔

We are on our way back with this poor emaciated mare after finding her abandoned in a bog area in Mayo, surrounded by gorse bushes with nothing to eat.
She is not chipped. She was literally just surviving 💔
Our welfare team are bringing her to safety now. She is the sweetest mare, and it is heartbreaking that whoever did this will likely get away with it ONCE AGAIN.
Why? Because this country is still failing to enforce its own laws on microchipping and horse passports 😡😡😡
Once again, we are left picking up the pieces.
Once again, innocent animals are paying the price💔
A huge thank you to the Mayo An Garda Síochána, who supported us every step of the way this evening.
Tonight, this beautiful girl will have:
A comfortable stable, Veterinary care, Food and clean water and a chance to recover and know kindness 💔
Tonight, we know that one more life has been saved from cruelty.
Please donate if you can. Every single donation helps us continue rescuing animals like her, and we will never let them down ❤️

https://t.co/gBLskZcqPM

We have named her Slaine after a very brave lady in our lives ❤️❤️❤️❤️
