From today, we’re doubling Claude Code’s 5-hour rate limits on Pro, Max, Team, seat-based Enterprise.
We’re also getting rid of the peak-hour rate limit cut we made on Pro and Max a few weeks ago.
@1Umairshaikh blame backend and add "since i do not trust backend services i already recorded a video for this feature" assuming you're demoing to ur stakeholders in a company
My monitor has been flickering off and on randomly for a while now and I’ve been ripping my hair out trying to figure out why.
Well today I figured it out… wtf?
openai are back on top, it never takes them too long i guess.
the revolving door of ai frontrunners is spinning again.
openai didn’t intend to release this soon. usually they stagger models to preserve safety and stability. but the arrival of gemini and opus forced a "code red." securing funding for trillion-dollar clusters requires maintaining the lead.
the new model dominates. it shows huge improvements on agentic benchmarks like arc-agi and metr.
beyond the data, the model feels like a distinct leap over opus and gemini. it resembles gpt-6 more than a gpt-5.2; openai has learned to underpromise and overdeliver.
i didn’t expect this until 2026, but we are seeing the first glimpse of a genuine plug-in knowledge worker. it may not be a data center full of geniuses, but it is certainly a memory stick containing one.
people will move the goalposts. however, this release will convince many skeptics that true agi is imminent.
dario is ironically accelerating the race dynamics and forcing companies to rush safety measures. but i’m glad we’re moving fast. as the scale father says: ‘yolo.’
