La rupture des relations diplomatiques entre le #Rwanda et la #Belgique est très regrettable. Elle est une preuve de plus de l’autoritarisme du régime de #Kigali, incapable d’accepter la critique et de dialoguer avec ses partenaires. Une diplomatie de l'intimidation et agressive envers des ennemis imaginaires constitue l'un des outils du régime dictatorial pour détourner l'attention de la population des conséquences des sanctions et pour justifier la présence de ses troupes en RDC. La simple réalité à ne pas perdre de vue est que l’armée du régime rwandais occupe une partie du territoire congolais.

Les #intimidations, #terreur, #déstabilisation, #violences dans la région sont perpétuées par le régime rwandais en raison de l'absence de contre-pouvoirs garantis par la #Démocratie.

Notre parti @FDU_Inkingi, avec nos partenaires @P5Platform et @allforrwanda sommes prêts à mener notre pays et notre région vers la stabilité. Pour ce faire, nous proposons le dialogue comme chemin vers la paix régionale et la démocratisation du #Rwanda comme solution durable à l'instabilité chronique de la région des Grands Lacs.

En ce moment, nos pensées vont aux familles de toutes les victimes : les #Civils_Congolais, les #Réfugiés_Rwandais, les jeunes enrôlés de force et les militaires forcés de subir la violence de cette guerre aux visées injustes, expansionnistes et de pillage.

A call to stand in solidarity with the Rwandan people

The upcoming summer elections in #Rwanda epitomize the ongoing mockery of democratic principles under @PaulKagame's authoritarian regime. True political challengers, including prominent figures such as @VictoireUmuhoza Ingabire and Bernard Ntaganda, are systematically excluded from participating. Instead, the electoral process is tightly controlled to ensure no credible opposition can contest, depriving Rwandan citizens of their fundamental right to freely choose their leaders. The Rwandan people have no democratic means to bring about change, as every avenue for genuine political participation is blocked.

Compounding this affront to democracy, the regime is coercing many Rwandans into contributing a portion of their salaries to the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF), Kagame's ruling party. This enforced financial contribution highlights the regime's exploitation of its citizens, who are compelled to fund an election that offers no real choice or hope for change. The practice is both undemocratic and morally reprehensible, underscoring the regime's manipulation and looting of its own people.

The repression extends beyond Rwanda's borders, targeting the diaspora in what is known as transnational repression. The series #RwandaClassified by #ForbiddenStories @FbdnStories has exposed how the regime employs tactics such as surveillance, intimidation, assassination attempts, assassination against exiled dissidents. These actions, aimed at silencing opposition abroad, demonstrate the regime's relentless efforts to stifle dissent wherever it may arise.

Journalists, who play a crucial role in exposing the truth, are also targets of the regime's brutality. Notable journalists such as #JohnWilliamsNtwali, Jean-Léonard Rugambage, and Charles Ingabire have been killed, while others like Cyuma Hassan and Théoneste Nsengimana are facing imprisonment. Disturbingly, Nsengimana's family recently reported that they could not locate him, raising serious concerns about his safety.

This transnational repression and the exclusion of genuine political opponents from the electoral process further erode any semblance of democracy in Rwanda. The regime perpetuates a climate of fear and oppression, both at home and abroad, to maintain its grip on power.

It is imperative for the international community to recognize and condemn these sham elections and the extortion of Rwandan citizens. True political change can only occur when all citizens are allowed to participate freely and fairly in the political process. Global leaders, human rights organizations, and advocates of democracy must stand in solidarity with the Rwandan people, pressuring the #Kagame regime to respect democratic principles and the rights of all political actors and citizens. So that the Rwandan people can finally exercise their right to true political freedom.

#Rwanda: la plupart des formations politiques ne méritent pas du tout d'être qualifiées de Partis politiques. Elles n'ont pas de structures, elles ne sont là que sur le papier, juste pour occuper une case et faire valoir le soi-disant multipartisme.

Les points qu’il faut retenir dans la sortie médiatique de #JamesKabarebe (https://t.co/g7QE6JQRrM) :

1. La panique totale des autorités rwandaises à #Kagali à l’issue de la sortie de l’enquête #RwandaClassified de @FbdnStories, parce qu’elle dévoile la vérité sur la face sombre [crimes] du régime autocratique de #PaulKagame.

2. ⁠Ayant atteint le point de non-retour dans leurs mensonges, manipulations, narratifs, et crimes de tous genres, le régime de Kigali préfère camper sur son arrogance et refuse de faire face à la vérité car ils ont peur de la justice.

3. ⁠Le régime de Kagame en perte de vitesse, il accuse tout le monde, (y compris les #USA 🇺🇸) de ne pas intervenir pour stopper le génocide au Rwanda en Avril 1994. Or, tout le monde sait que le #FPR a refusé l’intervention onusienne en 1994 !

4. ⁠Le régime de Kigali oublie que c’est Kagame qui a déclenché le génocide en donnant l’ordre d’abattre l’avion qui transportait 2 Présidents en exercice : Juvénal #Habyarimana du #Rwanda et Cyprien #Ntaryamira du #Burundi.

5. ⁠Le régime de Kigali admet que la guerre menée par le #M23/#RDF contre la #RDC est celle du régime rwandais, et va même à menacer les partenaires de la RDC dans cette guerre !

6. ⁠Ce que ce régime a oublié de nous expliquer, c’est comment ses alliés d’hier sont devenus ses ennemis aujourd'hui et pourquoi Kigali se retrouve isolé alors que depuis 30 ans il était leur chouchou !?

7. ⁠Le régime de Kagame confirme son idéologie hégémonique et expansionniste dans la région des Grands Lacs Africains. Il le fait justement à travers ses invasions #M23_RDF_AFC contre l'Est de la RDC !

CONCLUSION : Les pays de la #RGLA, et surtout les pays limitrophes du Rwanda devraient être prudents car ils ont comme voisin un pays dont le régime est suicidaire qui est prêt à tout pour plonger toute la région dans le chaos total. Kagame lui-même l’avait confirmé : « we will fight as people who have nothing to lose » !
Alors, ne soyez pas surpris par l’entêtement de Kagame et son régime à embraser la région d’insécurité !

Il est urgent et impératif de prendre les mesures nécessaires pour stopper les plans diaboliques de Kagame avant que ça soit trop tard, car lui, il ne reculera jamais !

Isn't it incredible to see folks like Amb. @onduhungirehe and the Rwandan gov't spokesperson @a_mukuralinda passionately pushing for kicking out asylum seekers from Europe who just want security or a new chance in their life? These are the same folks who, back in the 90s, were running for their lives from Kagame's regime, which had inflicted deep sorrow upon their families, settling down in Belgium and ultimately obtaining Belgian citizenship through their refugee status.
