@JonesDeptStore @wolflasers @PhantomBlack699 and even if it was, in order to preserve the equity you need to pay out the debt holders. nobody wants to spend $1.5B+ to get a mere fraction of that back from value generated by NOLs. hence why nobody actually took advantage of it while they had the chance.
@JonesDeptStore @wolflasers @PhantomBlack699 The company can’t utilize its NOLs. that’s not how NOLs work. the business is gone, the assets are gone, it’s just a holding company now. you need to maintain the course of the business if you want to capitalize on the NOLs. which is not possible anymore.
@JonesDeptStore @wolflasers @PhantomBlack699 oh you’ve read thousands of dockets? Ok. If you show me a single docket, Just one, that explicitly states that shareholders will get cash or equity, I will zelle you $10,000 right now (or donate to a disabled veterans charity, your choice). So let’s see it.
@JonesDeptStore @wolflasers @PhantomBlack699 i mean sure, if you need to delude yourself into thinking otherwise in order to sleep at night then go ahead. make sure you continue to donate money to the grifters who got you in this position or else you might run out of copium!
@JonesDeptStore @wolflasers @PhantomBlack699 yea so every single highly paid lawyer working on this case has signed many documents explicitly stating that you will never recover anything. do highly paid BK lawyers lie for fun on legal documents now?
@GnikJSivart@unusual_whales it’s not that simple. in order for food prices to drop many other prices have to drop. there is a lot of different assets that are needed to make food. all of these need to become cheaper. that’s deflation and will crush the economy.
@GnikJSivart@unusual_whales prices are now increasing at 3% per year over the last year. however much u think prices have been increasing, hasn’t led to an economic collapse. deflation always does.
@_Kinimaka_ @DanimalOKC @SimpleSCOTUS You said American companies can easily compete since they don’t have to pay 20% tariffs. But that is more than offset by the far more expensive labor costs.
