We all knew he was lying about the Reflecting Pool. The problem is that he lies so often that it’s almost impossible to keep up.
So I asked AI to compile claims from just the past twenty-four months and then checked them against official data, contemporaneous reporting and independent fact-checks.
Here is a partial list of 86 lies:
1. He promised to bring prices down “starting on Day One.” Grocery prices remained high and continued rising.
2. After winning, he admitted that prices are very hard to bring down once they have gone up.
3. He said egg prices had fallen 93 percent. They had not fallen remotely close to 93 percent.
4. He said he inherited the highest inflation in American history. He inherited an annual inflation rate of 2.9 percent.
5. When corrected, he changed the claim to the worst inflation in 49 years. That was also false. Annual inflation reached 23.7 percent in 1920.
6. He said there was virtually no inflation during his first term. Consumer prices rose approximately 8 percent.
7. He repeatedly claimed he had already brought inflation down, including during periods when the annual inflation rate was higher than the 2.9 percent reported shortly before he took office.
8. He told Congress inflation was “plummeting.” Prices were still rising overall, including major household expenses such as housing, electricity and medical care.
9. He claimed to have secured $18 trillion in new investment.
10. He then raised the figure to $19.2 trillion.
11. Even the White House’s own tracker listed far less, and its total included multiyear pledges, purchasing agreements, previously announced projects and commitments that might never become actual US investment.
12. He said America was building more factories than ever.
13. He said factory construction was rising.
14. He said the country had achieved its highest growth ever. Manufacturing employment declined, factory-construction claims depended on cherry-picked categories, and economic growth was nowhere near a historical record.
15. He called the country he inherited a dead country. The US economy grew 2.8 percent in 2024, faster than every other major wealthy economy except Spain.
16. He says foreign countries pay his tariffs. American importers pay them and frequently pass the cost on to American consumers.
17. He said the evidence overwhelmingly showed consumers did not pay his tariffs. Economic studies found that American consumers and businesses absorbed nearly all their cost.
18. He said tariff revenue came with “no inflation.” Prices continued rising, and economic research found that the tariffs themselves increased costs for American consumers and businesses.
19. He repeatedly said drug prices were down 70, 80 or 90 percent. No broad measure of prescription-drug prices showed anything close to those reductions.
20. He said Medicaid was “left the same.” The Congressional Budget Office estimated that the legislation would reduce federal Medicaid spending by roughly $930 billion over ten years.
21. He said Americans were “not going to feel any of it.” The Congressional Budget Office projected that the legislation would leave approximately 11.8 million more people uninsured.
22. He said the Medicaid changes touched only waste, fraud and abuse. Independent analyses found that the legislation reduced coverage and federal spending far beyond fraudulent claims.
23. He said he had eliminated taxes on Social Security. The law created a temporary deduction, unavailable to many beneficiaries, that expires after 2028. It did not abolish taxation of Social Security benefits.
24. He said taxes would rise 68 percent without his bill. No credible independent estimate came close to supporting that figure.
25. He then declared, “I’ve kept all my promises and much more.”
26. He publicly promised at least 53 times to end the Ukraine war within 24 hours, or even before taking office.

Trump ran on the premise of America first and not entertaining wars that take energy and focus away from fixing America domestically.
He started the war, failed to stop the Ukraine one and now 95% of his energy is talking about the war.
He is a complete failure.
BREAKING: Trump overrules his own Coast Guard and orders 11 giant Arctic icebreakers just because Russia has more – leaving taxpayers holding the multi-billion dollar bag!
Donald Trump reportedly ignored his own Coast Guard experts and ordered the purchase of 11 massive Arctic icebreakers after getting obsessed with the fact that Russia has a bigger fleet, according to a new New York Times investigation.
The Coast Guard’s most recent assessment said the country only needs four or five heavy icebreakers.
Admiral Kevin Lunday, the Coast Guard commandant, told the Times straight up: “The number 11 came directly from the president. This was the president’s number and the president’s decision.”
The Times notes the deal was born as much out of Trump's personal enthusiasm as military planning. After a round of golf with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Trump reportedly called him late one night and announced he no longer wanted one used icebreaker.
He wanted an entire fleet of brand-new ones instead.
The ships alone are expected to cost nearly $7 billion. The administration also bypassed normal competitive bidding by invoking a rarely used “public interest” exemption so the contracts could move forward without competing bids.
And here’s the kicker: while they found billions to buy the ships, there is no plan yet to pay for the crews, ports, maintenance, and infrastructure needed to actually operate them – costs that could run into billions more.
Where did the money come from? The administration redirected billions from the Republican spending law’s border security funding after Trump decided he wanted more ships than Congress had originally approved.Trump has never hidden his reasoning:
“We only have one,” he complained during his first term. “Russia has 40.”
Experts note that comparison is nonsense. Russia has a far larger Arctic population and relies on icebreakers to keep northern ports open year-round. The United States has completely different needs.
Even the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office is sounding the alarm likening the Coast Guard to “a lottery winner who spends all their money buying the mansion, and then goes broke once they realize they don’t have the money to maintain it.”
This is a perfect example of Trump’s government-by-fiat: decide he wants the biggest, the most, or more than the other guy – then leave everyone else to figure out how to pay for it, staff it, and make it work.
The man is treating the national budget like his personal toy store. If Trump’s ego-driven $7 billion icebreaker shopping spree has you seething, like and share this post.
🚨 Trump took in $13 billion from Venezuela… and the money has mysteriously disappeared.
Thumbs up 👍 if you think the money went straight into Trump family pockets.
They killed him 💔
Leftist media will not tell you. You need to tell the world.
Islamic regime in Iran has hanged 20-year-old Arvin Khairkhah for taking part in the anti-regime protests in January that ended with a massacre of 50,000 protesters.
Save Iranian for regime
The President posts tariff decisions on a platform his family owns. Those posts move trillions. As of this morning, his company sells early access to them for $100,000 a month.
That’s it. That’s the product.
Nobody stole anything here. There’s no leak, no shadowy meeting in a garage. There’s a press release and a pricing page. Their own CEO advertised it as a feed of the platform’s “most market-moving Truths.” They put it in the marketing copy.
So a hedge fund paying six figures a month sees the tariff post first. You see it whenever your phone decides to buzz. In algorithmic trading that gap is everything. It’s the difference between selling into the panic and being the panic.
Guess which side your 401k is on.
And the money for being first goes back to the family of the guy writing the posts. He picks what to announce. He picks when. He owns the pipe it goes through. Try to name a single check on that.
Rome sold the right to collect its taxes. We sell an API key. Same business model, better UI.
Washington’s response so far: Schiff and Warren wrote a letter asking the SEC to investigate. The SEC, run by a Trump appointee, declined to comment. That’s the whole accountability apparatus. One letter and a shrug.
The old corruption was at least embarrassed about itself.
This one has a launch date and an enterprise tier.
$100,000 a month to front-run the President. Available now.
We've reached a point where "retirement" is a fantasy reserved for people who bought a house in 1985. If you're under 40, your retirement plan is "work until you die or hope society collapses in a way that cancels all debt." There is no third option.
America didn't die in a single moment.
It died one compromise at a time.
-When convenience replaced liberty.
-When comfort replaced courage.
-When open borders replaced citizenship.
-When the national debt replaced prosperity.
-When surveillance became the new normal.
-When the Constitution became optional.
-When people stopped protecting their freedom and started accepting being controlled.
Nations don't collapse overnight.
They slowly forget who they were.
If the US engages in a massive bombing campaign against Iranian power plants, Iran will destroy wll US Gulf ally energy infrastructure pushing gas prices to $5-6 a gallon long term replacing the Trump war tax with a Trump global depression. It might even stage a massive cyber or super-EMP attack to turn the lights out in the US.
Then, Trump will be the most hated and despised president in US history for provoking the destruction of the US and the deaths of millions of Americans in a great power war with a nuclear Iran fought on false pretenses. I'm calling on Vice President JÐ Vance to invoke the 25th amendment and remove Trump from power before he destroys our great country!
Rest in peace to this Muslim woman who was executed in Sudan in front of her children and crowd of people watching 💔
Pray for her children who witnessed their mother being killed in the name of religion even if we are from the religions this is heartbreaking and her screams say it all pain, fear , and betrayal 💔

🇺🇸🇪🇸🇲🇦 Massie says the House "greenlighted the transfer" of Spanish territory to Morocco 2 weeks before the Ceuta crisis
The vote is real. H.R. 8595 passed 217-209, Republicans 215-1, Massie the lone no.
But the actual text he's citing is committee report language, not the bill itself: the House Appropriations Committee "notes" Ceuta and Melilla sit in Moroccan territory and "supports" diplomatic talks between Morocco and Spain on their status.
That's not a transfer. It's non-binding guidance. No legal force, no change in sovereignty, and the U.S. has no authority to hand over land it doesn't own in the first place.
The real hypocrisy point survives without the exaggeration: Republicans voted for language acknowledging Morocco's claim, then acted blindsided when migrants used that exact claim to storm the border.
Why inflate a real story when the honest version already lands?

JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇲🇦🇪🇸 Thomas Massie:
“Don’t fall for the fake Fox/GOP outrage. Two weeks ago the House passed a bill that greenlighted the transfer of Spanish territory to Morocco. Every Republican except me voted for it, but now THEY are acting shocked at the invasion.”
BOOM: WAKE UP PEOPLE: James Talarico stood before Texas and said the quiet part out loud: Trans people are 1%, undocumented people are 1%, Muslims are 1%—we’re focused on the wrong 1%.
Billionaires and their puppet politicians pick our pockets while dividing us. Texas is listening and rallying.
Dr. King wasn’t un-alived just for being Black—he was un-alived for uniting poor people of every color against the same 1% that still thinks they own us.
Our unity is the threat. Their division is the strategy.
Texas just chose the facts.
🚨In Key West, an ICE/Border Patrol agent threatened to PULL A U.S. CITIZEN OUT OF THE CAR because he cursed at an agent… then had the audacity to tell the U.S. citizen to “learn your laws.”
So, let’s learn them.
In the video, Border Patrol agents pulled over a car of U.S. citizens and demanded everyone hand over their IDs.
When the passenger says, “Bitch, fuck you,” an agent asks what he said and then threatens to pull him out of the vehicle if he “says one more thing like that.”
The passenger correctly asks: “For what? That’s freedom of speech.”
The agent responds: “That’s not how that works. Learn your laws.”
Oh, we’re going to…
Cursing at a government agent is not, by itself, a crime. The First Amendment protects a significant amount of verbal criticism, insults, and profanity directed at law enforcement, as long as it is not a physical threat. The government cannot punish people simply for verbally challenging or criticizing law enforcement.
And it gets even worse.
After the passenger calls the agent a “fucking white cracker,” the agent asks what he called him… and then tells another agent he is “thinking of calling in and arresting this guy.”
For what?
Because he hurt your feelings?
The government does not get to arrest someone for speech they don’t like.
And yes, Border Patrol has special authority near the border. That includes operating immigration checkpoints where agents can briefly stop vehicles, without individualized reasonable suspicion, for immigration questioning.
But, that is different from a roving patrol stop.
When not operating at a checkpoint, Border Patrol needs reasonable suspicion to pull over a vehicle for immigration questioning.
And even at a checkpoint, the agents’ authority is not unlimited. A checkpoint stop does not automatically give them the right to search the vehicle, indefinitely detain people, or arrest someone because they said something an agent didn’t like.
The Constitution does not say…
“You have freedom of speech, unless a federal agent gets offended.”
It says the government cannot punish you for exercising that right.
And perhaps the most important part of this entire video is…
The passenger knew his rights better than the federal agent threatening him.
The agent told the U.S. citizen to learn his laws…
But maybe the agent should have learned them first.
