A driver later identified on video as Ethan was pulled over by officer Matthew Ritvo Cabezas for 50 in a 35. He recorded the encounter.

The officer noticed a Thin Blue Line flag on the back of the vehicle and immediately made it part of the conversation.

“So who’s the law enforcement sticker for, huh? The law enforcement sticker on the back. The blue line flag.”

Ethan: “Yeah, I support law enforcement.”

Officer: “Okay, but you’re afraid of me.”

Ethan: “No, I’m not afraid. I’m just recording for a ticket.”

In the end the officer issued a written warning.

Then he added that if he caught him speeding in town again, it would be reckless operation.

On the way out he said:
“I suggest you take the blue line sticker off the back of your car.”
