@Alan_Couzens Agree with you Alan. It is not a matter if we directly measure VO2max via metabolic card or we estimate it via end stage achieved in the test. CRF is associated with morbidity and mortality, but it is only one factor of our physical and physiological functions relevant for health
@tomgoom Are people with MTSS subjected to loads that we consider physiological? Yes, most of the time. So, why is that their shins cannot tolerate such loads? When we answer this question, we will move fwd. I have my hypothesis based on clinical experience, but no real evidence.
@JamesThrot Thx for sharing your observations. I’ve read several recent papers that show very good effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in individuals with long-covid symptoms, most of which are neurological. HBOT has also been shown to improve brain perfusion. Your thoughts on that?
@sserranobmsk Hi Sergio, thx for sharing this link…do you have a pdf of the article as I do not have access to full text? If so and if you are willing to share it, my e-mail is [email protected]
Thx
@compandalt At this area (not necessarily this point) you may have the compression of the tibial nerve by soft tissue behind the knee. So I would not say that there is no possibility of having a true effect needling this area on LBP. Note: I have stopped doing acupuncuture / DN in practice.
