Yaxel Lendeborg on getting support from his vets after last game and Luka Doncic calling him a “24-year-old rookie”:
“I’m always gonna be myself, man. I don’t care what anybody has to say about it. The guys are over there on the couch talking bad about me like, come on, bro, I could care less what you got to say. What else do they say? The 24-year-old rookie thing? I’m 24, in the NBA, with the best job in the world, just moved my mom out to California. Like, I’m living the dream. I could care less, you know what I mean? So I’m always gonna be myself. That’s the way I was taught, the way I was raised. I mean, you know, I’m happy with life no matter what goes on.”

🤯 UNBELIEVABLE — LeBron jumps into Edgecomb, bloodies his nose, and the refs reward LeBron with free throws. Broadcast ignores all context.
What. Is. Happening.
Yaxel Lendeborg on what he and Luka Doncic were going back and forth about:
“I was telling him he sucks. He can’t score on me. You talking, you can’t score on me. I said it the whole game. I said a couple cuss words obviously, you know, that’s why I got the technical and all that. But I was letting him know because he was laughing and talking all this because of that one foul call, and his only bucket was a banker from half court. Like, I know that it’s a team sport. He had 28 on us as a team. Me, I took my matchup personally. Tried not to get caught on the fouls. Tried my best. I was thinking about playing him with my hands behind my back to see if that worked. Probably would have still got a foul call. But, you know, interesting.”
Yaxel Lendeborg said he “lost all respect” for Luka Doncic after facing him tonight because he said Doncic was “complaining the entire game.”
On his interaction with Doncic: “I told him he sucks. He can’t score on me.”

Steph Curry on Klay Thompson:
“I miss that dude every day. But that’s part of the NBA. Once he left, was that three years ago now? Yeah. You know everything’s not going to be the same because we all grew up together. We grew up as competitors, as champions, and at the end of the day, when it is all said and done, I can’t wait for us to break bread, have a glass of bourbon, and reminisce on all the things that we were able to accomplish. I’m happy for him in Miami.”

A U.S. congressman wants to change how we legally “own” video games.
Rep. Ritchie Torres has announced plans to introduce the Power To The Players Act, a bill that would direct the FTC to create rules protecting consumers who buy video games.
The proposal would give players three basic rights:
>The right to own the games they purchase, rather than simply receiving a revocable license
>The right to keep playing games after online servers are shut down, through an offline mode
>The right to transfer or resell games they own
Torres argues that if a company can take a game away simply by shutting down its servers, then the consumer didn’t really buy the game in the first place.
Torres also hopes the legislation could eventually establish a precedent for ownership rights across other parts of the digital economy:
“If you pay for it, you own it.”
Yaxel was surprised when his coaches told him he had to guard Luka.
“I’m on my phone chilling. He walks up to me... ‘Hey, you're guarding Luka tonight.’ I said ‘What the f*ck?’” 😂

Masako Nozawa comments on the use of generative AI in voice acting:
"I can't forgive using it without asking. I want people to follow the rules.”
After watching AI videos of her voice: "This is not my voice. Using it without asking is unforgivable. It's the same as stealing, and it makes me angry. My voice is mine, and my acting is mine too. If anyone uses even a little of it, they should get permission."
"What (AI) makes might sound like me. It might even be a perfect copy. But it has no heart, does it? Without heart, it's no good, whatever the role. Even a voice that's only crying is different when you cry with real feeling. That's what I believe."
To young people aiming to become voice actors in the AI era: "Work hard so that people say, as a voice actor, it absolutely has to be that person. Without heart, you're just reading the letters of the lines, so make them living words."
Klay Thompson gets emotional after telling a story about Giannis from 2022:
“The year I came back from two-and-a-half years off injury, we played the Bucks. I had a great game. I had 38. That game made me feel like I could be a great player again. After the game, he walked from the opposing bench all the way down to our bench just to tell me how happy he was for me. I don’t want to get emotional, but that meant a lot to me. To be one of the 75 best players ever and not to be bitter in a moment where your team loses… just give me those props, that made me look at him in a different light. So now, to be his teammate is just awesome.” ❤️
