To the people of Israel: I stand with you in grief, remembrance and solidarity on the third anniversary of October 7. We will never forget those murdered or the suffering of their families and the survivors.

The Islamic Republic that armed and supported Hamas is the same regime that keeps Iranians in chains. When Iran is free, we will hold all those involved in these crimes accountable. Both our peoples deserve freedom and security.

The bond between Iranians and Jews stretches back 2,500 years to Cyrus the Great. A free Iran will be a friend and partner to Israel. Lasting peace and stability for both our peoples will only come with the fall of the Islamic Republic.

The Islamic Republic has executed Alireza Raeesi and Alireza Sepahi, two protesters arrested during Iran’s Lion and Sun national uprising.

Facing execution, Alireza Sepahi married fellow prisoner Mahshad Kashani, who was sentenced to five years in prison. A heart attack delayed his execution in July, but the regime remained determined to kill him.

"These state killings will not go unanswered. We will pursue accountability through fair trials for everyone responsible, from the officials who ordered them and the judges who issued the sentences to those who carried them out."

Established by Prince Reza Pahlavi and chaired by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Shirin Ebadi, Iran’s committee drafting transitional justice regulations is preparing the legal framework for prosecuting the regime’s crimes. Its warning is clear:

“Every execution adds to your criminal responsibility. Do not expect these crimes to be forgotten, or count on impunity or forgiveness.”

Why is @amazon violating US sanctions?

The OFAC still lists him as a Specially Designated National (SDN) under IRAN-EO13876, with the notation “Subject to Secondary Sanctions.”

What are relevant sanctions implications?
His property within U.S. jurisdiction must be frozen. Property includes money, securities, real estate, contractual rights, and other property interests.
U.S. persons generally cannot transact with him. Amazon is a US person. A US person does not escape these restrictions by conducting the transaction abroad.
