@akraut23md@SergioPinski It’s AHA Class I but AVNB are Class II. Like many things with AHA recommendations, many are outdated and based on pretty awful evidence to the point of… why even make a recommendation https://t.co/Y5Uv70RawF
@AmericanAir hello!! Flying to Austin this morning and my boarding pass says that seats can’t be assigned? Is there a way to solve this problem? Any help appreciated
@TracesofTexas It’s determined by county lines, fyi. When you’re in Hidalgo you’re in the rgv if you’re traveling 281. Not when you see a beat down car.
“Researchers found that treatment by a NP resulted on average in a 7% increase in cost of care and an 11% increase in length of stay, extending patients' time in the ER by minutes for minor visits and hours for longer ones.“ https://t.co/nvzb6kBmE9
This is a photo of my list from my very first day of surgical residency (censored).
It's an absolute trainwreck.
And like you'd imagine, my evening signouts in those early days were equally chaotic.
Until one day, everything changed.
This morning, I ran some case scenarios for the @StanfordSurgery@OpNotes residents to help them prep for the oral boards.
This afternoon, I tested GPT-4 AI on the same exact scenarios - word for word.
The results were shocking. Buckle up...
I see so many students worn out by the competition in medical school. Seems so much worse than when I was in school. I wish it could be different. Wish students could learn to look after their patients and not worry about honors, evaluations, class rank.
