Earlier today, ~3% of Claude Code Max and Pro users hit a bug that showed an incorrect weekly usage limit, and in some cases blocked them from sending messages.

This is fixed, and we're resetting 5-hour and weekly limits for everyone affected. Apologies for the disruption.

"L’Europe dit qu’Apple doit offrir des solutions équivalentes à la concurrence." → Non, les utilisateurs d'Apple ont fait le choix d'un système fermé pour éviter ces risques. Ce que l'Europe voit comme une mesure anti-concurentielle est un choix de consommateur.

Rappelons que Thomas Regnier est un fonctionnaire, donc non élu, qui prétend parler au nom de 450 millions d'européens. La bureaucratie dans toute sa raideur.

This is so dumb on the EU's part but they're being so stubborn and beurocracy-minded that they're blind as to why.

Their statement doesn't clash with what Apple said, but what the EU considers "interoperability" means Apple should allow you to power Siri AI with other models (GPT, Gemini, Claude), which is obviously a huge privacy risk because the whole idea of Siri AI is that by having unrestricted access to all your personal context its able to do things that you can't do with a simple app.

The reason Apple doesn't want to open it up that way is because they can only guarantee that their own in-device and private compute models will respect their privacy but they can't prevent other companies from using your data.

In thinking that they're helping consumers by offering "choice" the EU is risking user safety. Ugh.

La inteligencia artificial es el "Ozempic en la industria musical": todos lo usan, pero nadie lo reconoce.

Es la tesis de este reportaje de Rolling Stone que el sector atraviesa una etapa de "no preguntes, no digas" respecto a la IA: su uso es generalizado pero poco admitido públicamente por el estigma social que conlleva.

Según productores y compositores, la IA se ha integrado en los estudios para tareas específicas como la separación de pistas, corrección vocal de cantantes, la masterización, la creación de demos y la generación de samples.

Y en la pieza no hablan del antes y después de grabar: detectar lo que se lleva y funciona, optimizar la distribución para sonar en tiktok, Spotify, etc...

Como tantas veces hemos comentado, el uso de inteligencia artificial sigue una escala de grises: se quiere tomar el "hago un prompt y publico la canción" con el uso en algunas tareas y procesos que tienen creadores.
