MYSTERY MEAT: Trump says he struck a deal to flood the U.S. with cheaper foreign beef.
There’s just one problem: He refuses to tell Americans which countries the beef is coming from.
And U.S. ranchers are furious. https://t.co/xtjFb43rnp
Dutch beef containing carcinogenic growth hormones from approximately 60% of #farmers in the Netherlands is ALSO exported to America, as indicated to me by the EU and confirmed by the Council of State.
#17betaoestradiol#FOOD.
If Trump really wanted to lower beef prices he would support Massie’s PRIME Act which allows individual states to permit local custom slaughterhouses to sell individual cuts of meat directly to consumers, restaurants, and grocery stores within that same state. But instead the Big Four major meat processors in America control over 85% of the market and consequently the cost of processing meat is high. But with Massie’s PRIME Act, small processors would be allowed to compete and would drive down costs. It would also help smaller meat producers to sell their beef to local markets.
And we need Country of Origin labeling for foreign imported and foreign processed meats. Americans deserve to know where the meat they are buying to feed themselves and their families is coming from, and we have the right to reject it based on its country of origin.
Both of these I cosponsored and are Republican sponsored bills, why won’t the Republican controlled Congress pass these bills?
Why won’t the Republican elected President support these legislations which are America First?
The answer is the Big Four meat processors and their well paid lobbyists roam the halls of congress and get to go to meetings and fundraisers at the White House and YOU don’t!
The Left is having a field day claiming Trump stabbed American ranchers in the back by importing beef.
Truth: Years of democrats woke climate policies (“cow farts”), land lockouts, and water restrictions gutted our herds.
Now a flesh-eating parasite is marching up from the southern border.
Remember Biden’s hen slaughter? Eggs hit $12/dozen.
Trump imported eggs. Flocks recovered. Prices crashed.
Cattle take years to rebuild, not weeks. This is a temporary bridge.
Young Americans — step up. Ranching needs you.

TRUMP JUST CUT A DEAL ON GROUND BEEF.
For the next 90 days, the U.S. will allow up to 300,000 metric tons of ground beef in with no out-of-quota tariff.
That beef will be sold at 25% below current market prices.
This does two things at once:
- Lowers the price at the grocery store for working families
- Gives American ranchers breathing room to rebuild the cattle herd that got crushed under Biden
Biden left us with record-high beef prices and the smallest herd in modern history. Trump is fixing both.
This is how you put Americans first.

So, in other words, in an effort to lower beef prices, Trump is going to flood the US market with possibly unsafe, foreign beef and drown out US cattle ranchers, causing even less American beef to be produced since they can’t make up their investment.
Brilliant…
What a slap in the face to American cattlemen & consumers. Worse than socialism! Dumping foreign beef in U.S. markets can temporarily lower prices but it won’t incentivize American farmers to raise more beef. Bring back Country Of Origin Labels & pass my PRIME Act.
🚨 JUST IN: In a huge win, President Trump has struck a deal to MASSIVELY lower the price of beef for working families — new beef is coming in 25% cheaper
“For the next 90 days, the United States will allow up to 300,000 metric tons of product for ground beef to be imported with no out of quota tariff!” 👏🏻
“We have a commitment that this beef will be sold at 25 percent below current market prices.”
“This deal will reduce prices for Americans while giving space for our Great American Beef Herd to grow again. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP” 🇺🇸
Awesome!
Ground beef is expensive because the U.S. cattle herd is the smallest it has been in roughly 75 years.
Why is the herd so small?
The shortage developed during the Biden administration as years of drought forced ranchers to cull cows, while high feed and input costs made matters worse.
The cattle cycle takes years to reverse.
And no, cattle don’t magically appear because people are angry about grocery prices.
Cattle take 18–24 months just to reach slaughter weight. Rebuilding the breeding herd takes even longer.
So what did Trump do?
He announced a 90-day deal allowing up to 300,000 metric tons of ground beef into the U.S. with no out-of-quota tariffs and a commitment to sell it 25% BELOW current market prices.
The goal?
Give working families some relief at the grocery store NOW while American ranchers rebuild the herd.
A temporary increase in supply to help lower the price of one of the most expensive grocery staples without permanently undercutting U.S. cattle producers.
That’s called a practical solution.
But sure, keep complaining about literally everything.
God forbid anyone acknowledge a concrete step that could actually LOWER food prices.
A simple “thank you” would do.
Good grief.
