I can’t do it anymore - too much stress for a topic I may have a lot of passion for but doesn’t help me live my life, do my work, affect me.
If you have any specific references you recommend, share them now - and when I can I’ll consider them.
For my part, I recommend @CptAllenHistory as someone who does an excellent, exhaustive job finding original sources and references for the perspectives I share.
Whether we choose to try to question our assumptions and seek truth, or fall back on assuming we’re entirely right and refuse to consider others rational arguments, is entirely up to us as individuals.
I hope this is something you can respect. If not, there wasn’t any more point in discussing anyway.
Peace, and well wishes.
@Captain1159@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube You actually seem like you’ve done some research and don’t just label people and yell instead of thinking, @Tarafox113m
Is this really what you represent? People who use pejoratives like “ziorats” and such because they can’t comprehend people with different perspectives?
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube They only declared a state after the British proposed a split between Arabs and Jews and the Arabs rejected it. And said they would wipe Israel off the map before letting the Jews have a state.
You really need to stop reading Hamas pamphlets as though they were facts.
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube The most recent poll shows 32% support Hamas, still, and around that many for Fatah, who also pays widows of suicide bombers a pension, so … no I don’t think they oppose Hamas.

You keep saying that as if I’ve ever listened to the guy.
I got mine from research, asking questions, questioning assumptions, and reading original sources where possible.
Your need to somehow bring Netanyahu into this is indicative of the absolutely lack of any rational basis for what you say. It’s an excuse for not bothering to think for yourself
Try it sometime.
What Palestinian villages?
Palestine wasn’t even a country, nor was it even how the Arabs who lived in that area referred to themselves until the 60s - they even hated the term Palestinians because it was used pre-47 as the name for the region where Jews lived.
If you want to discuss the conflicts that occurred before 47 then you need to not just say what Jews did but what the Arabs did as well, because the idea they were all living peacefully and doing nothing until one day the Jews came and killed them is absurdely naive.
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube I’m staring facts, none of which you countered but with the typical pro pally whining about someone else they don’t like who also said it.
As if that is an argument.
You should just start saying “hasbara! hasbara!” As if that’s an argument too.
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube You know you’re dodging the point on this, and just can’t come up with a valid rationale, so you pretend like the children are somehow the only ones involved and the Israelis the only ones responsible.
Take your antisemitic double standards and go. I’m done.
It’s insane that you don’t have any explanation for how a country can defend itself when their attackers constantly hide behind children and hospitals.
Or give credit to the massive efforts they have engaged in to minimize casualties.
It’s just inexplicable … oh. Wait. They’re Jews. So…not so hard to explain after all.
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube Palestinians elected Hamas.
Palestinians still support Hamas.
Palestinians cannot insist on being treated like innocents when they are the ones who chose a terrorist organization to represent them.
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube Always the “look who agrees with me” argument when you run out of actual arguments.
Not that millennia of antisemitic behavior should give you pause or reason to question why different organizations are misapplying their own criteria to the situation.
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube No, I merely point out that using it against Israel when you’re not going to be consistent makes your arguments useless.
Israel is a nation. It’s defending itself. There’s no law that supersedes that, because they are sovereign. It’s that simple.
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube Please. Displaced?
They were offered a state. Those who left chose to start a war, those who didn’t got citizenship.
They’ve flourished.
Meanwhile, the rest keep starting wars, and losing, and still reject offers of peace, a state, and so on.
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube “Genocide experts” - who paid $40 so join the genocide experts group.
None of whom can explain why Israel is committing a genocide without using criteria that would also make every urban conflict in history also examples of “genocide”.
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube Oh, and to your last analogy, it’s not remotely comparable. This isn’t an individual, it’s the governing body. It’s not a hostage situation, it’s a military conflict.
Apply standards that are consistent with military conflicts, don’t make up absurd and senseless conflations.
@Tarafox113m@Shnauser1@grok@GBNT1952@ConceptualJames@YouTube International law is a load of crap - it’s often defined by those who want to hold powers that they can’t compete with to standards that they won’t follow.
Every country stands for its own interests, and until we have a better system that’s just the way it is.
