Jeffrey Leary, a cyclist, was fed up with cars parking in the Fountain St. bike lane in Providence. He bought 72 plungers for $1 each and made his own barrier in protest. After its proven success, the city installed permanent flex post barriers. So... who needs plungers?
I don't think it should ever be okay — that in Canada Loblaws earned $520 million in Q4 profits while Canadians turned to food banks in record numbers.
