YORK YO31 0HA
@ChloeJSmee from Food for Life shared her experiences in Calderdale, Christian Reynolds mesmerised us with facts about the pros and cons of plastic food packaging and Adrian Lovett wrapped things up (not in plastic!).
Stephen Collins from Tang Hall Food Co-op spoke about food and community whilst Michael Hjort spoke about the opportunities available at the York Food @YorkFoodFest
Grow the Movement was a brilliant success. Over 120 people from a wide range of backgrounds came together to listen to our six keynote speakers and to begin developing initiatives to help develop and evolve York's food environment.
York is now a member of the Sustainable Food Cities Network!
The official launch of Good Food York will take place at the Quaker Meeting House, Friargate, York on Monday 12th November at 6.00pm. Do join us!
