The beautiful Trifid Nebula, also known as Messier 20, lies about 5,000 light-years away, a colorful study in cosmic contrasts. Trisected by dust lanes the Trifid itself is about 40 light-years across and a mere 300,000 years old.
Spiral galaxy NGC 4565 is viewed edge-on from planet Earth. Also known as the Needle Galaxy for its narrow profile, bright NGC 4565 is a stop on many telescopic tours of the northern sky, in the faint but well-groomed constellation Coma Berenices.
I spent two years imaging and processing a high resolution multi panel mosaic of the horsehead and flame nebula in Orion, using the @planewaveinstruments CDK14! After countless hours, I’m finally ready to present it, I hope you enjoy it!

This is my real first light with my Sigma 65mm f2! It had to be done on the Milkyway Core from La Palma and its of course an HaRGB Mosaic with lots of exposure time :)
I think the overall look and feel is even better than my 135mm pano from La Palma.
INSANE FOOTAGE - On the Contreras Fire in Arizona. A massive dust devil in the background of a tanker drop. Last reported at 6,700 acres the fire is on the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation. Multiple Hotshot crews are working the fire #contrerasfire#arizona#azwx#wildfire#fire
@RamAn345 Good question! I liken it to terrestrial photography, where at a certain distance away the lens can focus most anything (typically the infinity mark)
