While not a single journalist inside Iran dared to report on the January massacre and the slaughter of Iranian protesters, every image and piece of information from that crime was published by ordinary citizens, many of whom are no longer alive because they paid with their lives to get the truth out.
Yet the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) grants an award called “Courage in Journalism” to a journalist, Elnaz Mohammadi who enjoys privileged internet access and state backed benefits, and who, despite those privileges, did not publish a single report about those two days or the people who were killed in the streets.
If Israel had shut off Iran’s internet, the American left and half your favorite ‘anti‑establishment’ pundits would be screaming ‘human rights’ on every channel. When the Islamic Republic does it, they go silent. Watch this and tell me I’m wrong #internetblackoutiniran@marklevinshow@elonmusk
Washington’s priority right now is clear: take Iran’s nuclear enrichment off the table and prevent a wider war. For Iranians, the priority is regime change and dismantling the machinery that has repressed us for 45 years. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf is not a symbol of that change. He is a former IRGC commander and security chief with a long record in crushing dissent, now posting gibberish about “vibe‑trading digital oil” while he fronts for the same apparatus. You cannot use the same system that beat students in the streets to deliver freedom for those same people, no matter how you dress it up. @marklevinshow@LauraLoomer@marcorubio@SenMullin@LindseyGrahamSC
100 days ago, on January 8th and 9th, millions of Iranians took to the streets knowing the price they might pay. More than 40,000 heroes paid that price for Iran's dignity, liberty, and freedom.
Young women tore off their headscarves in front of armed security forces. Students organized, marched, and faced plainclothes agents on campuses. Teachers, lawyers, and workers walked off their jobs. Shopkeepers shuttered their stores in solidarity. Millions of ordinary people did extraordinary things in city after city in an epic display of national unity.
The regime answered with bullets, mass arrests, and show trials and executions. Facing an inhuman evil, Iranians showed superhuman bravery. More than 40,000 gave their lives.
My compatriots kept going and their courage belongs to history. This is the final battle and they are preparing to win the war against the Islamic Republic. In this battle to reclaim our nation, I will not stop fighting until the day they are free.
We hope the world will be with us. Whether it is or not, our fight will continue and we will liberate Iran.
@joekent16jan19 There are no moderates in the Islamic Regime. They are all dangerous radicals.
I don't know what issue you have with Trump but shame on you for whitewashing the crimes of the Islamic Regime against the Iranian People for political points.
Shame on you.
This list was clearly written by someone who knows nothing about the Islamic Republic, Islamic terrorism, or the Middle East.
If America actually carries out this list, not only will the US gain nothing , it will suffer the greatest failure in its history.
After implementing this list, the Islamic Republic won’t collapse. Instead, any possibility of regime change by the Iranian people themselves will be completely destroyed.
A country of 90 million people will turn into a paradise for Middle Eastern terrorists, and in a few years, America will be forced to return for another war, this time against a one-million-strong army.
Instead of this nonsense, America should realize that the Iranian people are capable of overthrowing this regime themselves. The only thing the US military should do is help them come out onto the streets safely.
Dear European citizens!
Your governments keep repeating that the war with Iran is not Europe’s war, and that Europe’s interests require it not to get involved.
These statements are being made while, over the past 47 years, European governments have provided clear support to the Islamic Republic and have refused to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization.
Now, if you truly believe this war is not your war, then step aside and watch as the Iranian people, together with America, Israel, and our neighbors in the Persian Gulf, bring an end to this terrorist regime without your help.
But know this: the consequences of your spectatorship will not leave you untouched.
The smallest consequence for you dear watching Europeans may be the stabilization of $150 oil. We in the region, along with America and perhaps Russia, will badly need much higher oil prices to compensate for the damages of war.
It would be wise for the spectator Europeans to start getting used to this reality.
