@feliciaday Not a parent, but a therapist for itty bitties/parents--that's absolutely developmentally appropriate. Kids who have been breastfed still seek that comfort after weaning, and that's great! It's a wonderful way to co-regulate.
@lauralydia93 Nah, while it could be argued that you qualify, it's not really meant for you. While your parents might not have PhDs, they certainly know how to navigate postgrad academic systems and can pass that on to you. First-gen students need support because their families don't.
hjonk hjonk some days goose doesn’t create as much chaos as goose could
it doesnt mean goose is bad at chaos, or that goose will never create chaos ever again
it just means goose was having an off day
be like goose, forgive yourself, today isn’t forever it’s just one day hjonk

Universities: Need help? Use our mental health services!
The services:
-A golden retriever comes to the library once a week
-There's one therapist on the campus of 40,000 students
-There are bathroom stalls you can cry in for free!
This is shameful. America shouldn’t have a wealth test for admission. It’s a place where millions of people are descendants of immigrants who came w nothing & made a life.
The American Dream isn’t a private club with a cover charge - it’s the possibility of remaking your future.
