Unfortunately a copy, that no child is capable of reading and understanding via morphemic or structural analysis, is posted in all SBISD elementary schools, taking up valuable print-rich wall space. Permission to replace with this child friendly version?@KenPaxtonTX
It’s my understanding that @SBISD has received donated copies of the Ten Commandments sufficient to comply with SB 10, including the 800 displays delivered last month. Could taxpayers please get an update on the installation status in classrooms?

Dearest mother —
The battleground has called for my glorious return. I’m thrilled to say, I shall heed that call.
I have reenlisted.
While my sidearm is permanently holstered — I shall help train other young men to be great soldiers. Please send care packages of squirrel oil and skunk cakes to our basecamp at Stanford. I love you.

School districts across Texas are feeling the squeeze of no new funding since 2019 against a backdrop of record inflation. Our state allocated $5B to public education but passed no bill to give it to schools. We have a record surplus in the state’s coffers. @GovAbbott needs to call a special session! Call our Gov and let him know we need a special session! @SBISD
I applaud President @JCHartzell for his leadership in adhering to University rules and regulations to protect students and the First Amendment.
Anti-Semitic conduct is unacceptable here in Texas.
President Hartzell's stance sets an example for other university leaders that our fundamental right to free speech does not excuse intentional violation of University rules, regulations, laws or the rights of other students.
These campus takeovers need to end immediately so students can safely finish this semester unimpeded by people who are proven to be outside agitators.
We must remain resolute in combating this reprehensible, alarming and anti-Semitic behavior from extremists at the University of Texas and universities across America. #txlege #hd133
I voted in the SBISD Trustee elections as well as for the new HCAD Board Member positions. Have you? If not, today is a great day to vote. No lines and short ballots. Early Voting is going on now through April 30 and Election Day is May 4! Turnout is expected to be low so every vote matters even more.
My endorsed choices are:
David Slattery for SBISD Trustee, Position 3
Chris Earnest for SBISD Trustee Position 4
Kyle Scott, Bill Frazer, and Ericka McCrutcheon for HCAD Board
