This @ESO image shows the beautiful nebula NGC 6164/6165, also known as the Dragon’s Egg. The nebula is a cloud of gas and dust surrounding a pair of stars called HD 148937.
A Galaxy That Will Take Your Breath Away...
NGC 6946 is a breathtaking sight. In just the last hundred years, 10 supernovae have been observed within it, giving rise to its well-earned nickname: the Fireworks Galaxy.

Amazing image of the Ghost Nebula! "The Ghost Nebula designated Sh2-136, VdB 141) is a reflection nebula located in the constellation Cepheus. It lies near the cluster NGC 7023.
NGC 1788 is a fine reflection nebula located about 3,000 light years away in Orion the Hunter. Sharply defined on its southwest perimeter by the dark nebula, LDN 1616, this beautiful cosmic nursery is often overlooked in its lonely corner of the Hunter. 📷 Mark Hanson #NGC1788
