Reports are saying that the Red Cross was shocked by Hamas’ ceremony today.

If this is true, it took 16 months, 7 despicable ceremonies, 19 starved living hostages, and 4 deceased hostages to finally shock the Red Cross.

I blame the “Free Palestine” crowd in the West.

I blame the UN, who stayed silent for 16 months before finally issuing a weak, meaningless statement.

I blame the Red Cross, who waited 16 months before quietly acknowledging something was wrong.

I blame everyone who ripped down Kfir and Ariel’s posters.

I blame all of you: the monsters and their enablers.

Your silence, your indifference, and your applause allowed Hamas to continue for 503 days too long, leading to a grotesque and shameful ceremony where 4 murdered hostages were handed over to the world.

The next releases will likely become increasingly difficult, as Hamas started by releasing the hostages in good health first.

What we saw today—clear images of starved, abused, and tortured men—will likely be repeated in the coming weeks.
