The amount of cancer patients seen by me in opd today at government hospital in Mumbai India 🇮🇳. 140 pts .

I am doing this for free of cost ,( I don't take any honorarium
for this ) , twice a week , for last 11 years (since March 2013 )
All get free cancer treatment With first line and second line chemotherapy . Some do get targeted drugs like trastuzumab and bevacizumab for free. This is positive impact of government schemes Iike Ayushman Bharat and MPAJY @PMOIndia @Dev_Fadnavis

All these are very poor patients . We can not give state of the art care but With what ever we can give , some of them do get cured and lot of them have good disease control.

This is my small contribution to the society from which I come and became medical oncologist.
I am sure lots of oncologist are doing much more impacful work than this. And I appreciate and admire all of them .

If all of us decide to give something back to society, in which ever manner , small or big , probably we can make a difference 🙂.

Let's continue to inspire and get inspired.
