@TomMoyerUT@KenVDZ "Best players on the field" is a meaningless phrase, deployed here in service of motivated reasoning. There are rules regarding eligibility, which take into consideration nationality, doping offenses, sporting sanctions, etc. We follow them, or not.
@Chris_arnade Well, no, because 99% of the world knows the difference between a vast, corrupt patronage system funded by licensing and broadcast rights, and the integrity of what happens on the field.
@GoodWillsmith It's a dumb take also because Morrissey so badly wanted the Smiths to be a singles band, that he'd then mope when, say, Shakespeare's Sister flopped. This resulted in a weirdly fractured catalog, with strong b-sides that should have been on albums.
@dccommonsense Roger Ebert has a whole chapter on this in his autobiography.
He goes through all the categories of books he "needs," gets to the ones even he can't justify and concludes, "You can't get rid of books. They're BOOKS!"
@chrishume_ Looks current to me, with recent blog entries.
Generally, one contacts them, places an order, and then waits a couple of years for delivery. ;)
Not a mass market operation, to be sure, but it is made-in-USA high horology.
@jonawils This is pedantic, but Favoriten has been part of Vienna since 1850, therefore not a suburb, but an “outer district.”
“Ziegelböhm” definitely has a g.
