The suspect in the Cambridge shootout was 46-year-old Tyler Brown. He was recently released from prison after being convicted in 2021 of attempting to kill a Boston Police Officer. The DA’s office had asked for at least 10-12 years in prison, but Boston Judge Janet Sanders thought a shorter sentence was appropriate for the attempt to take a police officer's life. Today, Tyler walked along the roadway firing at random vehicles and people. Multiple people were hurt, and a former military member and Massachusetts State Police troopers stopped the active shooter.

Democrat Mayor of Arcadia, California, has agreed to plead guilty to acting as a foreign agent on behalf of China. She’s resigned from her position.
