Bindrix is getting close. π
Core development is done. Deployment/CI/CD is what's left.
Now I'm testing end to end like a real user β clicking around, breaking flows, chasing logs, finding gaps I didn't know existed.
Every fix reveals something else to check. π
Almost there. Beta is getting closer.
@DistroDigitalAi@appdriftco I'd lead with repetitive product and availability questions coming through Instagram DMs. Bindrix can use store context to help generate accurate replies instead of merchants manually checking everything.
Indie founders, how did you get your first meaningful website traffic?
SEO, backlinks, Product Hunt, directories, or direct outreach?
My SaaS site is getting very little traffic. Looking for tactics that actually worked for you. π
@RonnyBruknapp Thanks, Ronny! I'm targeting smaller ecommerce brands and solo Shopify merchants who handle customer conversations themselves. I'm still figuring out the best way to reach them before App Store approval. Would you start with Shopify communities or direct outreach?
@mingmakesstuff Even 10 relevant visitors who could become users would be a good start for me right now. I'm still pre-launch, so I'm trying to figure out which channels can bring the right audience first.
@DistroDigitalAi Initially, I'm targeting smaller ecommerce brands and solo store owners who handle customer conversations themselves. The goal is to reduce manual work without needing a dedicated support team.
@DistroDigitalAi Thanks! The App Store listing is definitely something I'll focus on once Bindrix is ready for submission. For now, I'm exploring channels I can work on before approval.
I agree. Actually I have everything you described. And it was working well before till last week. Each week I feel that the efficiency gets low, tokens get high. Heard that this will happen when Anthropic wants to release another model and show it as much better than previous one. Not sure that's the case or not
I've been using Claude Opus 5.5 with Max reasoning to build Bindrix.
Something feels different lately.
Even after detailed planning, it misses scenarios during implementation that it would previously identify on its own β sometimes cases I hadn't even thought of.
I'm going through the same flows for the third time.
Anyone else noticing this with Claude Code recently? Or am I missing something? π€
Took 3 days off X.
Came back, posted about building Bindrix, and reached 6 people. π
Apparently, my audience took a break too.
Back to building. π
One thing I'm learning while building Bindrix:
Not every problem needs another feature.
Sometimes the better solution is removing a step, simplifying a workflow, or making an existing feature easier to use.
More features don't always mean a better product.
@valerioamirani This is a really practical approach. Starting with stores that get frequent shipping and stock questions could be a good way to identify potential users. Tracking which installs come from listings versus direct outreach is a great tip too. Thanks for sharing!
I had to step away from Bindrix for a bit.
Payment gateways, pricing tiers, offers, onboarding flows, and how to bring in the first users β too many decisions were competing for attention.
After taking a break, I came back with clarity and finally locked down the onboarding and payment approach.
Sometimes, stepping back is progress too. π
Bindrix beta is taking longer than expected.
Payment gateway restrictions have forced me to rethink the launch plan. I've reached out to Shopify Partner Support and am waiting for clarity.
Meanwhile, testing continues. Every UX improvement seems to uncover another bottleneck. π
Fix, test, repeat. Still moving forward. π
