Yup...but only in the beginning, just like when computers and internet were in its infancy. It was for computer scientists only. Now, even my 83 year old mother knows how to use email, Facebook, WhatsApp...there is an entire eco system that came out of the initial stages of the internet.

AI will create so many DIFFERENT opportunities, which we don’t even know what they are, yet. Yes. In the meantime there will be layoffs, but for those who are high IQ and have agency they will grow along with it. Adapt or die. This has been true for the entire existence of humanity.

Perhaps. But AI is comparable to what people thought computers would do, too. Humans have short term memory about life changing events and constantly crave something that will end humanity. It used to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to build a website. Now it’s a few hundred dollars. Computers did not replace jobs, it created a whole new industry.
