@real_hotaru grand strategy games.
Every white guy i know usually accidenally ends up conquering half the map when playing any paradox game even when they originally wanted to get only a little
these days they are.
but back in the before times when all you had was pretty much wool, dirt, Stone, oak and bricks, people mainly used blocks for what they were supposed to be instead of their colours.
the only exception was people using coloured wool to literally make literal pixelart in the sky and anyone who tried using stuff like wool as alternative grass were often laughed at
@Pirat_Nation I guarantee, the moment gabe dies, there is gonna be MASSIVE pressure on valve coming from absolutely every other company/political organization.
And steams gonna go the way the library of alexandria did
I always love seeing when various creators do stuff like basic designs of their universes having weird quirks like that. especially when they are based around a really specific core principle.
like when the entire world mostly focuses on dragon ball's fight scenes and characters, I always loved analysing the buildings and machines since Toriyama always had interesting designs which also extremely rounded at times
@Haripax3 either its just Games workship doing random shit just to build hype for what may be coming.
or they are preparing for the 40k equalivent of the endtimes/age of sigmar
from my understanding, its entirely a classic case of "creator didn't know/think they would be popular"
which happens all the bloody time, where the writers/whoever will make a throwaway character and even kill them off in the same movie/thing but then fans absolutely love them which causes the writers to have regrets about killing them.
I fully beleive that the reason mojang is so little content is just because they massively overdesigned.
Like where as most devs would say "lets add this tree" and has it in the game quickly, mojang probably goes back to the drawing board like 20 times to "make sure everyone is happy before they even get started
I always say, the main difference, with 'old diverse' shit is the intent behind it.
in the 80s if they decided to make a main character in a movie a black guy instead of a white, it was usually because someone high up liked the guy and wanted to give them a chance or shit like that and then altered details around the fact they were black.
These days when they choose a black over a white, its because they are trying to make a point and its written for a black guy beforehand and thus they actively picked a black guy purely because he was black.
@Brokeonaboat@Fenrirtheicewo1 its partially a side effect due to the lack of specific timelines for events
You never quite know whether its been a few days/weeks, months or years between shit happening, example when batman/whoever gets decently injured you never know whether it took him a week or more to heal
it is stupid IMO.
I am sick of people obsessing over insignificant 'details' and acting as if a thing not having IRL levels of information thought out is plot holes and shit.
The story only needs to give as much information as they need to, like as a kid I always assumed the empire had other types of ships off camera and the destroyer was just the empire sending something big and powerful because no one can really afford the reckoning if they actually fight back/destroy it
he is a serial killer, but not a murderhobo like most movie killers tend to be
most other movie killers just kill for the sake of killing and take it wherever they can
Jason however usually has a very specific motive for killing, meaning if you don't fit the bill and ain't trying to stop him, he doesn't care about you
@TheRedcapsNet Not if you listen to the idiodic 'modern' (post-critical role) fans, according to those morons its a "group storytelling experience" where things that could alter their planned 'story' is ignored
ye, I don't recall exactly where/when he could have said it, but its vague memories since its been like two decades since I last touched the game
and honestly, Kotor2 to me always had a 'great Ideas, horrible as hell execution' with many of its concepts.
half due to the sheer amount of cut content, half because the writers kept getting high off their own farts when it came to trying to criticise tropes that make star wars star wars
I always wondered if it would count as insider trading if you didnt actually know what was going on behind the scenes, but had a REAL good idea just by having a lotta experience in whatever industry
For example lets say someone spent decades amongst various car manufacturers but didnt for a few years and still could spot the signs that something good/bad was up
I always had the theory that a lot of the christian gods seeming schitzophrenic actions were the result of a ton of different proto-religions/pantheons being merged into one entity.
Like one area had a local malicious diety that was well known for a flood and the story got absorbed onto christianity amd their name errased, another area might have had a kind but strict god and another a friendly nieve one and so on
@DAKKADAKKA1 When i tried the game, i got a game over for siccessfully shooting one of the kids and decided that i didnt need to continue since nothing else could best that moment
One day i might return to give it a propper playthrough, but nothing will ever stpp me from trying to kill child
@BluebriarArts I just want to know what the fuck is wrong with his eyes.
he looks like one of those fucking fish or something where his eyes both looks as if he in in severe need of glasses and looks like those fucking goldfish type whoses eyes look like they are barely connected to them
